Darling

Tim let me stay at his cottage for quite a few days whilst coming down to Maidstone, Which was Extremely helpful of him,

Shooting from his cottage was great No travelling back n forward, It doesnt have huge white walls to shoot from, but more querky,characteristic,Cosy, which is better than a studio. Tim has week ends off and keeps out of your way if you have any shoots, which I felt abit selfish for.

True gentlemen, great host, abit shy lol and I would 100 % recommend him if you wanted to stay there, Hes not dodgy or anything for letting models stay! Theres No catch, Just very generous and helpful through out my stay.

I had a shoot at Tims cottage with Darling and was very impressed! The cottage is a lovely warm place which has several rooms and staircases which can make great images. There's nothing plain about this place which gives it a fantastic alternative to a studio.

Tim was accommodating, helpful and assisted me with lighting while at the same time, he lets model and photographer get on with shooting without distraction.

I would recommend this location highly if ever you're lucky enough to get the chance to shoot there.

I had a great shoot with Tim on Friday. He travelled up to my place and we had a great day both talking through different ideas and having some fun trying out different shots around the property. Tim is a true gentleman, very easy going and a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to a long and happy working relationship with a great guy. Highly recommended.

Worked at Tim's small cottage on Weds with Chikita too.

Had a good 3 hr shoot.A nice intimate location privately located and easy to use.

Parking available and outside location close by for an outdoor shoot if the mood takes you.

Look forward to working there again if chance presents itself.

Guess we might meet next time Tim....

Had a fantastic shoot this afternoon at a great cottage location, (which I highly recommend you try)

With the lovely chikita. Tim was there to help set lighting and offer good advice, then disappeared during the shoot ... Would have stayed if needed.

Really nice guy and cannot praise both location and models that work here high enough.

Thanks for a great afternoon Tim and will see you again later this year.

Tim is a fantastic professional. Came by his studio cottage, which was beautiful. I want to thank him again for his help with lighting. Very helpful! I would recommend any photographer and model to contact Tim and work with him - summer and winter. I could only imagine the nice places around his cottage for outdoor shoots. Keep up the good work!

I have shot at Tims cottage in Maidstone a few times now with a number of different photographers :)

Tim is professional- arranges studio days and it all works out very well his hospitality is amazing- he is fun to work with and is highly recommended!!

Had a great shoot with Miss Lacey at Tim's Cottage. What a great location to shoot in. Wonderful location, lots of different setups available too. I'll definitely shoot there again. Thanks Tim.

I spent a couple of days at Tims Cottage shooting with other photographers and managed to shoot with Tim before I left. It is a great venue, warm and welcoming with some interesting features and also plain walls to ensure a range of image styles are possible. Tim was welcoming and made sure I was warm and had plenty of tea/ coffee! Working with Tim was brilliant fun and I couldn't stop smiling at all! We produced some great images that have a cheeky, relaxed feel and i'd be pleased to work with him again. I'd also love to re-visit Tim's Cottage and use it as a venue, if he'll have me back! Thank you Tim! Very Highly Recommended :)

I booked a shoot with the lovely Suzanne who had a later shoot already arranged at Tim's cottage. It made sense that I should also head over, I had previously shot there so knew what a fab location it is.

Tim very kindly lent me his lighting rig and as ever was very helpful, nothing was to much trouble.

Had a great shoot and hope to visit again real soon.

I had arranged with Natalia Forrest to shoot at Tim's Cottage as the location for my second 2012 shoot with Natalia.

The location has a number of different rooms to use with some nice features such as the open brick fireplaces.

Tim provided warm beverages and provided a tour of cottage.

Had a two girl shoot at Tim's cottage with Auburn Rose and Natalia Forrest. What a great place to shoot with many possibilities. Tim lent me the use of his Elinchrom lights which helped to produce some nice mood lighting. Tim was extremely helpful and nothing was too much for him. Definitely will be returning for more.

I shot at Tim's cottage yesterday and it is superb. The opportunities it presents are too numerous to list here and I wouldn't do it justice if I tried. I would not hesitate to recommend this location.

I look forward to my next shoot there.

A real little gem of a find with a wide range of very different and interesting backdrops to work with

I know the cottage is becoming really popular with some great models as a base in the South East and it's easy to see why

I have now stayed at Tim's cottage twice for a base on tours.

He is very welcoming, allows you to stay and use his cottage for shoots free of charge which is extremely kind of him!

We got a couple of shots whilst I was there last time, he gave direction really well and the pictures look really good :)

Would definitely recommend to any model thinking of using his cottage as a base on a tour, great location, comfortable accommodation with good company and studios in the area too!

Photographers thinking of using the place there are so many options for sets/backgrounds it would be a real shame for you to miss out on working there!

I have used Tim's Cottage for 28 model shoots since May 2011. If you check my "Tim's Cottage" gallery on my zenfolio site (click the link on my portfolio) you will see a collection of images shot there.

Tim has some Elinchrom DLite studio lights which I used on the first shoot I did there. I was so impressed that I went out and bought some Elimchrom BXRi lights for myself.

A lot of models stay there and find it to be a great base to tour Kent and many seem to be keen to come back again for more tours of Kent. There are about 20 local photographers who shoot at the cottage, so it is a good location for models to get paid shoots. The cottage is not far from a couple of local studios for those wanting a studio shoot.
