Time to update my bio as my lifely circumstances have finally recovered.  

I am now open for bookings from home and around UK. 

My home in Cumbria (near Penrith) boasts 5 bright rooms and a historic interior dating to the 1770s. It is my private residence and I have it constantly shoot-ready - fresh flowers on the tables, library in order, a tray of charcuterie to serve while we work.   

There are 3 fireplaces, deep-benched windows, some antique props to pose with, and a clawfoot tub. An outdoor space for cautious nudity is also available and I am willing to shoot fashion in the roads surrounding my village.  

I am a neurodiverse 31 year old model from Canada, who just moved to the area last year. I have had a chaotic personal life but this job is my peace. My personal life had been kept effectively separate from work until last year, when they fatefully mixed, causing health issues that affected my modelling. I am ostensibly mended from them now and settling into a chapter of lasting wellbeing - my home in Cumbria is my launching pad for this. I have worked hard to find this fortress of solitude and plan to remain here indefinitely. I have big goals that a lifetime of mayhem had stunted through my twenties, but feel younger than ever now and ready to let the good, slow, peaceful times roll.  

Modelling has been my sole source of income since I was 18, but my eventual dreams are as a nonfiction writer and poet.  

I am extremely whimsical and this job is my passion. I have a very feminine nature and enjoy photos that capture the raw, sometimes messy, pure, pulpy spirit of womanhood. I am overjoyed to keep meeting awesome people in this industry who are as focused on capturing the art as I am - lovers of beauty, and showing the soul, honesty, and truth through images.  

I prefer shooting in colour and enhanced natural light, I like whites instead of black, and I like expressions of bliss and emotion rather than steely angular portraits. But I can do both.

It is my desire to bring the humanity back into modelling - it is when doing this craft that I feel free to be most myself in a world that’s been unsafe for me elsewhere.   

I am asexual and celibate. In the same way that I read romance novels because I haven't found romance in real life - I make erotic photos because sex is not viable for me in real life. This is how I get my kicks - but I am quite sensitive to the subject, and will not tolerate level pushing. I want to fulfil my sexuality through art - but my art remains art - all staged, all pretend - and does not translate into real sex acts, so please do not ask.  

My autism affects my admin abilities - I am working on this, and will become better at responding. It affects my social skills but not my performance at shoots. Your patience is highly valued and as inconvenient as it is, the more I like a project, the longer I procrastinate responding - so take it as a compliment if I never got back to you. Feel free to send me another message - if I do not want to work with you, I will be open about it - and if I do not reply it is disability related and not personal. As I said however, this is not a fixed symptom and is improving. Last year I was unable to give a single reference for dozens of shoots, and this offended people. I now reference every successful shoot.  

I am a work in progress, but it is my endeavour to make all my bookings feel meaningful, and my clients feel respected. I am an artist at my core, and I reject capitalistic standards of professionalism - I believe there is a way for us to collaborate authentically, and only when our humanity comes above our labour, can we flourish creatively. This means honouring diversity, and recognising that everyone has unique needs. It is something to be embraced, not tolerated. I only ask for the respect I grant freely to others in return.  

At my shoots I am fully focused and engaged with you. I like lively conversation during breaks but require less talking when we are on set. I am warm and playful, but direct. If I’m skittish when I greet you,  I will settle the moment the camera starts rolling.  As said, this job is my peace - I am deeply satisfied while creating.

I do not like to be micro-posed, but the creative direction at a hired shoot lies in your hands unless you explicitly hand it to me. I do not expect images from paid shoots, however 90% of the photos you see in my portfolio are from paid bookings and they are my edits. I ask for editing rights when I am granted image access, as I am honing my skills in that area and need practice.  

I would like to believe that photographers in the High Arts World as opposed to commercial shooting, are hiring the models for their essence and character, and not as a mannequin - so I do expect to be granted occasional suggestions at the shoot and to be trusted in my domain of posing. But the layout of the day and the bulk of the vision is yours.  

Don’t worry, I am not this talkative in real life - I like calm and centred shooting environments. But felt like getting thorough on my page for now, because why not.  It’ll scare off those who are, ultimately, not meant to work with me. I’m quite focused on finding “my people” at this stage in my creative journey.  I may shorten it eventually but for those who wish to know me more, for now, they can. 

I am honoured to work this profession and fall a little bit in love with every client who books me. I aim to find lifelong collaborators. I am so ready to release good art upon the world, and am really just getting started.

£15/hr add on for any outdoor shooting, as I am sensitive to the elements thanks to autism. I will only shoot in fair conditions and require smooth sturdy surfaces to pose on - any sticks, jagged edges, slime or cold wind will not do. I need to feel safe and comfortable at my shoots and cannot push myself.
