Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Mike came back to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with resident model and studio owner Miss C.

It was a pleasure to welcome Mike back to Basford. All pre comms were great and he arrived on time with everything he needed for the shoot. Throughout his time here he was always respectful of our location and very happy to ask if he needed anything.

We would of course reccomend Mike, he's a great photographer and a great person to have around! Welcome back anytime!! Thanks Mike!!

Mike contacted me in a response to my last minute casting call for a shoot and I am so pleased that he did!!! I had previously met Mike at an event at Basford Hurst Cottage and I was impressed with his skill as a photographer to create many amazing images - It was then a privilege to be able to spend 4 hours shooting with him 1-1 at Basford Hurst Cottage myself.

Mike sent me over some ideas for the shoot, and all pre comms were great. He arrived on time with loads of props and equipment and after a quick look around we started shooting. Throughout the shoot Mike was full of ideas and spent a lot of time making sure the light was suitable and flattering for me as the model, something that I really appreciate!!

Mike was a lot of fun to shoot with, we had a good laugh and Mike was always happy to show me images we were creating - The back of the camera looked great!!

I would highly reccomend working with Mike and I very much look forward to seeing him again soon!! Thank you Mike!!

I got so painfully behind on my references from the tail end of 2023 into this year for many various reasons (my life being the main one!) but finally here I am with my cup of herbal tea catching up!! :)

It was great, after a few years to work with Mike again- this time at my current home studio!

Mike saw my casting call and booked a few hours with me last month.

The shoot was super relaxed and we got some lovely images in the time- and had a good catch up too (as so much had happened since we last saw each other)

I was very pleased with the images we took and we used a few areas that hadn't been used before too!

Wonderful home shoot with Mike and what an amazing photographer I had the pleasure of welcoming!! Punctual, extremely polite and charming and he knows his craft inside out!! A really relaxed shoot, which was a welcome change after contorting my body for what seems like the past few weeks. The images we finished with however, gave such a beautiful calm girl next door aesthetic and I cannot wait to see some of our finished photos!!

I had a lovely shoot yesterday with Mike at Basford Hurst Cottage. He was great to work with and our time together in the group shoot was highly productive. I got to see some BOC and was very happy with the results. He was very helpful with other photographers too which was lovely to see. I hope to work with him again soon and would highly recommend!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

It was pleasure to welcome Mike back to Basford when he came back to shoot with Erica Mulkern on her group shoot event.

Mike worked well with Erica on each of her sets and made sure to be always respectful of the location and our time schedule for the event. He is also incredibly easy to talk to, polite, friendly and each to work alongside.

It had been 3 years since I last shot with Mike so it was super lovely to catch up after so long!

We shot in the Airbnb I had hired in Birmingham, same as our previous shoot in 2020. Mike had a new camera system since we last shot and we focused mainly on natural light around the Airbnb shooting a mix of art nude and sheer, and from what I saw on the back of his camera the images we got are so beautiful!

It’s always a pleasure shooting with Mike and we always put the worlds to rights and talk as much as we shoot haha! He even remembered one of my favourite snacks which was very kind of him :)

Happily recommended and hope we don’t leave it as long next time!

I had the pleasure of working with Mike during my model day at Auraphotografic studio in Longbuckby. It was our first time working together and I have to say Mike is terrific to work with. We got along very well, ideas were developing smoothly in a great environment. Mike is a fantastic photographer and beyond that, a very lovely person. Very respectful and very creative. My only complaint: well two hours just isn’t enough. We have to work longer next time :)

I had the infinite pleasure to meet and work for the first time with Mike during my model day with Beth Kate at The Boardroom studio in Derby.

Mike arrived on time and with plenty of ideas for us, from portraiture to dance style. Professional all the way through, friendly and easy to work with. I always look forward to working with Mike, having done so very successfully several times before, so I was very excited when he messaged to book onto my co-hosted duo studio day with Lenza at The Boardroom. I was so excited to introduce him to Valentina, and as expected the three of us created some fantastic work together. Mike is quite he expert when it comes to portraiture so of course we got some great duo portraits in, but we also utilised the space we had and worked our way through both duo and solo dance style sets too.
