What a fabulous first shoot I had with the stunningly beautiful and brilliant Sylph at the great Natural Light Spaces studio last Sunday. Sylph's pre-shoot communication was excellent. Sylph is a wonderful model, very elegant, has a superb figure and creates the most amazing shapes. Sylph is so easy to talk to and I felt relaxed as soon as we met. Not only is Sylph a very inspirational model but she is such a lovely person. We shot some lovely fine art nudes and some fashion nudes as well as some fashion outside and we had some fun trying to create some movement images. I would very highly recommend Sylph to all photographers - not only would you get some awesomely brilliant images but you would have a wonderful time as well. Thank you so much Sylph for such a wonderful shoot and some awesomely stunning images - you are a star and I hope we can shoot together again. :) Thank you so much - Keith x

we pretty much shot nonstop for the full 4 hours with the od break while i faffed with lights, She had such a range of poses and definitely knows what looks good on camera.

My third annual shoot with Sylph Sia at NLS was as usual a memorable event ! I had built a prop specifically for Sylph Sia to use which needed some courage and a lot of balance to accomplish the shots I was looking for. Sylph Sia knows so well how to create the right shapes with all her body with such finesse - it made working with her a real pleasure. lots of shots to process and I look forwards to working with you when you are back in the UK. highly recommended !!! :)

Wow!!! What can I say about this amazing model.

Sylph has just finished 3 sold out days in the studio and what a total professional she is. Hard working, dedicated and amazing with all of the photographers.

On a personal note she is just so easy to get on with, a real delight to have around.

This model is not to be missed when ever she is here in the UK and I can’t wait to welcome her back to the studio next year.

Take in the Alps

Working with Sylph at the Natural Light Space was one of those experiences in which I had to pinch myself (more than once) just to find out if it was really happening. What a lovely smile she gave me when I shared this with her. Well, that’s Sylph: so extraordinarily humble, warm and laid back. It’s astonishing to witness those qualities in someone who is gloriously beautiful and has an incredible talent for creating flowing movements and exquisite poise in front of the camera. Her skills as a photographic model are off the scale. To witness her working - the fluidity of her unfolding performance - was a privilege that I will never forget. Half way through the shoot I told her that I would have to work with her next time she travelled here from Australia. I recommend you do the same. Do not miss out like I did last year when I left it too late to respond to her casting. Her visits are hungrily awaited by many photographers.

Even though we had never met before it didn’t take long to strike up a relaxed though highly professional rapport with her. She has such a depth of knowledge as to how the shot is going to look that she is able to greatly contribute to all aspects of lighting and styling. This makes for a highly collaborative and professional approach to setting up the shot.

My favourite part of the shoot was when we were exploring gesture and emotion. Sylph is probably best known for the beauty of her art nude posing but in this set she completely excelled. There was an enormously expressive depth to her work when we were trying to tell stories through the depiction of specific emotions and gestures.

I could have gone on with that set for days on end but I found myself thinking that I must move on to dance and the effortless flow of her exquisite movements. Four hours was never going to be enough. Not because we didn’t create wondrous shot after shot but because she is capable of producing such a wide range of styles, each of which is marked with - in her case - stellar characteristics of balance, classicism and an almost supernatural beauty that goes way beyond definition.

Part of that mystery is explained by the fact that her vast skill as a model is harnessed to such a delightful personality that I was smiling for days on end after the shoot just from the memory of our simple exchanges. The warmth of her being added much to the considerable pleasure I experienced in working with her. By the end it was hard to say goodbye. I’d finished up with a memory card full of images that I couldn’t wait to edit - staying up all that night, despite a drive back to Gloucestershire, was a definite option! I also felt that I’d been on the receiving end of much wisdom and karmic charm. I felt deeply touched by her loveliness and the beauty of her nature. She had told me that she had once been an aspiring classical pianist. That seemed to explain something of her incredible ability to express movement within an instance of stillness. She does everything with a high degree of musicianship, almost as if she is deeply listening in for or tuning into the pose; the pose that fits with that instance of light - that moment of emotion.

Thank you Sylph for who you are - both humble and one of the great photographic models of our time. Thank you for treating me with such respect and calm friendliness. Thank you for the wonderful shots you made for me. I will never forget that beautiful afternoon together in the Natural Light Space.

My second shoot with Sylph Sia and without doubt one of the highlights of my model photography year. This lady is amazing, so accomplished and just brilliant at what she does. Great company, hard working and needing little or no direction, Sylph just understands light and how best to place her body for maximum effect to generate terrific images. I recommend her like crazy. Preshoot communication was excellent, the actual shooting is absolutely top level professionalism, great posing very creative and takes direction easily when necessary. Also due to weather I had som specific requests and Sylph was above and beyond acomodating and trying to get everythingt o work out (which it did). A pleasure to work with and I sincerely hope it won't be the last time...

I honestly don’t know where to start with this reference for Sylph. Not because I don’t know what to say, but I will be repeating a lot of what has been already said about this phenomenal lady.

She previously messaged me early last year to say she’d be touring from Australia and would I be interested in working together...but unfortunately, that time, I couldn’t. So when the opportunity came around again, when she messaged me about this year’s tour, I jumped at the chance...also because I’d seen all the fantastic images togs had shot of her last time! And in literally no time at all, we'd arranged our shoot.

Then a piece of good luck...I was able to briefly meet Sylph a week before our shoot! In a break during shooting in either studio at NLS, we were able to say hello briefly...and that meeting made me look forward to the following week even more!

One week later, back to NLS we went for our long awaited shoot...and the lady herself was just an absolute dream! Just SO easy to get along with, very down-to-earth, looks incredible, has a great sense of humour...and can pose quite unlike no one I’ve ever seen before!

I’m over the moon that Sylph and I finally got the chance to work together. Our images look stunning, and I’ll definitely be knocking on her door the next time she heads this way!

My first time working with Sylph, a three hour studio shoot.

Pre-shoot comms were excellent, and Sylph arrived early and ready to go.

Sylph’s superb looks and figure are clear to see. Her posing is sublime and her professionalism and dedication first class. She takes a genuine interest in producing the best result, and contributes in a very positive way to the creative process.

If that were not enough she is highly intelligent, articulate, and a great pleasure to work with. I would have no hesitation working with her again on a future visit - she merits the highest recommendation.

Sylph is quite simply a stunning and highly accomplished model. We tackled two very involved and complicated set ups at Saracen House. Now I know what true collaboration is. Don't get me wrong Sylph does not shoot TFP and her rates rightly reflect her abilities and experience. No what I mean is that we created the concepts as a team, Me, Sylph and Andrew the Saracen House owner. Sylph's involvement was not limited to to her wonderful posing but she made suggestions for the set design, shooting angles, lighting and exposure variables which fully contributed to the success of the shoot. Thanks Sylph - I am so pleased I booked you for this particular shoot.

It is likely to be another year before she tours the UK again but when she does I will be at the front of the queue.

Had the pleasure of meeting Sylph for the first time yesterday for her shoot at Saracen House with Paul. She was fully engaged in the concept of the images that the photographer was looking to create, her experience and expertise was more than apparent and she worked tirelessly to ensure each frame was fantastic. She’s also a super person to have around. Looking forward to her return to the UK next year already!

Having missed Sylph on her last tour I was so pleased that we managed to arrange a shoot this time. Sylph is an experienced model who poses beautifully without direction. She is exceptional at art nude having not only a fantastic figure but also the gift of great spatial awareness and the ability to finish her poses with beautifully placed feet and great hand shaping. She kindly agreed to a rather last minute somewhat impromptu duo session with Ayla so I was lucky enough to get both some wonderful duo images and needless to say wonderful solo images as well. I had my first shoot with the very talented Sylph at Natural light spaces, Fantastic model, very experienced and a joy to work with. When posing I noticed she was making little tweaks to the clothing and when I developed the images those little tweaks made a really nice difference to the image, its an attention to the smallest of details about her modelling that really comes with experience and dedication. Had my second shoot with Sylph Sia at NLS. I had a rather challenging set up for Sylph to work through which she did with elegance and poise. She is an experienced photographer as well as a model who is always focussed on getting the best shot, - checking the back of the camera to ensure she can perfect her pose. If you want a model with tremendous skills, flexibility and versatility,, who can contribute to the shoot with ideas then you've found her. Highly recommended and see you next year :)

Posting shots from our shoot, I noticed I hadn't left Sylph a refence. Shame on me.

After not being able to make diaries match on a previous trip, Sylph got in touch to say she was back in the country and in a convenient studio so an afternoon was booked at Natural light studios. A good place to do the kind of pictures I like making, and that she turns out to be so good at doing. I'm delighted with pictures and Sylph was a real pleasure to work with. Absolutely recommended.

Had a fantastic shoot with Sylph Sia at Natural Light Spaces during her studio event there. Sylph is delightful to work with, extremely capable, experienced and creative. Shooting art-nude we covered a large variety of poses and set-ups making full use of the abundant natural light. At all times Sylph was keen to examine the back-of-camera results to make changes to fine tune the pose. Sylph is lovely, elegant, long-legged and charming and will work with or without direction. I found it interesting to see the subtle differences of approach from our Australian visitor.

So easy going, warm and a delight to talk with on many topics.

Highly recommended and I would definitely like to work together again.

Great booking with Sylph today at Natural Light Spaces. She is an ace model, beautiful, great company and very hard working. Sylph is very comfortable modelling over a range of genres, producing great poses for fashion, portraiture, lingerie and nude sets. Her complexion is flawless also. As with all good models, she brings a wealth of experience to the shoot and adds her ideas to help a photographer get great images. A very stylish and elegant young lady, Sylph generates such beautiful shapes with her poses.
