References for SP-Photography

I had a shoot with Sam while on my trip to the UK. Since I am based in Germany, pre-communication is very important, and I must say Sam showed enthusiasm and willingness to collaborate with me from the very start, which I found very reassuring. Not many people do that.

Just before the shoot, Sam drove us to a small coffee shop, where we got ourselves some hot tea for a start. Sam is a very charming person and easy to talk to, so by the time the shoot started we’d already established trust.

During the shoot Sam was very organised and it all went extremely smoothly. He let me pose freely giving occasional suggestions and overall, we were on the same vibe when it came to the results. In fact, whenever he showed me the back of the camera, we both agreed which takes we liked better. We also had my good friend Leda (can be found on PurplePort as Leda Ogden) to help us out, which was a great plus, for there were many minor tasks as adjusting the final outfits and holding the reflector, which could otherwise prove difficult in a windy weather, but as it was we were quick, worked together well and got some great images.

And if we did all that in a windy and chilly weather, I can only imagine what all we could have accomplished on a warmer summer day when the “Sod’s law” is not applicable.

Speaking of, thank you Sam for teaching me this particular expression—I honestly didn’t know it before.

After the shoot, we again popped into a coffee shop to get ourselves some more tea and Halloween themed cupcakes, so by the time we parted, and Sam drove us back to the station to go to London, it felt like saying good-bye to a friend.

I’m very glad our collaboration with Sam worked out and I gladly recommend him to any model. In fact, next time I’m in the UK, I’ll definitely drop a word.

I had an awesome shoot with Sam!

Leading up to the shoot the communication was fantastic and we both discussed what we both were aiming for from the shoot.

Sam was there on time and we got shooting straight away, we clicked really well and nothing was hard work.

The shoot went amazing and we got some amazing shots. Sams attention to detail and lighting was perfect.

I would recommend shooting with Sam he's an super cool guy, very easy to get along with, professional and a talented photographer!

Thanks for an awesome shoot and getting my edits back to me so quick!

I had a location shoot with Sam today and it went amazing could not recommend him enough.

Very new to modelling and Sam made me feel comfortable and created a positive atmosphere with zero awkwardness. Felt relaxed and calm throughout the shoot.

Pre-shoot communication were great, all information needed was given with lovely and humorous conversation that helped break the ice.

Sams directions while shooting were relaxing and easy to understand (especially when you don't know your left and rights) as well showing his talent by foreseeing where a better image would be, he's very talented with a few tricks up his sleeves.

Sam was very lovely and fun to work with, great sense of humour with perfect location to shoot on. Again couldn't reccommend him enough, would love work with him again soon and looking forward to seeing what other images he creates

I had my second shoot with sam on Sunday after previously shooting some grunge/implied nude styles.

This time we decided to mix fashion and lingerie at a beautiful location in Milton Keynes.

Sams pre shoot communication was excellent as always! He was waiting for me at the station and loaded my cases as well.

Sam is a great laugh to work with, has very good ideas and is very professional.

When we arrived at the location sam allowed me to change in his car so I didn't scare any local children and was set up and ready to go as soon as I had changed in to my first outfit.

We got some beautiful work that I feel we are both very happy with, the images were edited incredibly well and I will always be happy to work with sam on any upcoming projects and ideas!

A very talented photographer with some great ideas and a pleasure to work with.

Cannot recommend enough ladies and gents!

I had a location shoot with Sam on the Wednesday just gone and I couldn't reccomend him enough!

The pre shoot communication was excellent and even when I had train delays sam made sure I knew where he was waiting and that I was safe.

The location sam chose was perfect for the style

Of shoot we had previously discussed and he was set up and ready to go within a matter of minutes.

His direction was fantastic with which poses he liked and what worked best and he had a very relaxing and comforting manor. It made posing very easy and he's a right laugh too!

The images I was sent after the shoot were beautiful and edited to a very high standard.

I would recommend sam for work on all levels and really look forward to working with him again soon!

I did a location shoot with Sam yesterday for the first time and I had a very positive experience. I would certainly recommend Sam to anyone who is looking to work with a photographer with a broad range of ideas and techniques.

Pre-shoot communication was clear. Once on location Sam is great people skills, very respectful and accomodating, and also makes great coversation so the shoot flows very easily. Professional and full of ideas, and with the ability to take a large variety of great shots!

Once again, I definitely would recommend Sam at SP-Photography! Whether you are looking to expand your portfolio of have a specific project you are after, I am confident Sam is the right person for it and can deliver a great shooting experience and high-quality images.

I had an awesome shoot this evening with Sam, he was friendly and very professional.

I could see that he has lots of experience and Sam knew exactly what he wanted for each shot. I also got some really good advice to help me for future shoots and he built my confidence up too.

I had a sneak peak of the shots and they were amazing and cannot wait for the final pictures!

I would definitely recommend a shoot with Sam! If you don't, then you would be missing out on some seriously amazing pictures!

What can I say. Sam makes MAGICAL pictures!!

This was my first shoot with Sam. We arranged a shoot very last minute, places we went were absolutely brilliant, I loved so much!!

Next day BOOM my first image emailed to me. Amazing! I cannot wait to see the rest.

Sam is a lovely laid back, friendly guy. Gave me some useful tips too. A true gent and has an amazing eye.

I would love to work with him again! Highly recommended 💯👌

Such an EPIC shoot with Sam at the very end of my studio weekend with Artemis Fauna at her amazing georgian home studio.

Sam jumped in last minute as we had just 2 hours going spare of a 3 day sellout weekend, and I'm so pleased he made it!

Some of my favourite EVER duo shots, the concept Sam came up with and the way he captured the shots and editing them....FLAWLESS!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED & I hope to work with you again sometime

Artemis Fauna

Sam booked the very last slot of mine and Tillie's duo day last weekend- I am so glad he did as we took some stunning images despite the short notice! :D

We all worked our way through quite a few different ideas in the time we had and I adore the shots we did in the leather chair.

We all had fun and despite it being the last slot of a THREE day sell out event the energy levels were still high!

His comms were fantasic, he is a great photographer and got some excellent shots whilst being very friendly but professional.

Sam is very efficient and very good at what he does.

Had such a great first shoot yesterday with Sam - the time flew by. Sam is super friendly and easy to get on with and chat to, aware of the models wellbeing and comfort, professional, funny and organised. Our pre-comms were faultless and Sam was punctual on the day. I knew exactly what to expect and on the day it was relaxed and chilled out - Sam doesn't take a million photos in one hour, he has a lovely pace and regularly showed me the back of the camera which is always helpful. Sam has already uploaded an image and I love it. Definitely recommended :)

I worked with Sam just yesterday at my place for a few hours.

Sam initially contacted me on Instagram and we got chatting- then taking comms to PP to book a super shoot!

Sam's comms were spot on and he arrived on time. We worked our way through loads of ideas, chatted a lot and took loads of cool images.

Sam was easy to work with- friendly and fun and the time flew by! I hope I can work with Sam again one day and I am looking forward to seeing the images go up on PP :)
