References for Sandalwood Pictures (Julie Holbeche-Maund ARPS, CPAGB,BPE3)

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleausure to meet and work with this fantastic couple of Phil and Julie.

Pre communication was great, they sent me a moodboard and clear indication of what they wanted achieve on the day.

Julie picked me up from station to drive to studio location where Phil was waiting with everything set up and ready to shoot.

We focused in art nude low key images and bodyscapes. Great balance between direction and free posing. Professional and friendly at the same time. I felt super comfortable with them and enjoyed every minutes of our shoot together.

Julie and Phil are such a lovely couple, two wonderful human beings, passionate about their photography, enthusiastic, creative and just a joy to work with.

I was happy with the images from the Back of the camera but seeing now their edits I am like WOW!! Just amazing results!! Could not be happier :)

I recommend them 110% and I hope so much we can work together again soon creating new imaginary together!

Had a fab shoot with Julie and Phil today with a ethereal theme and then various looks with one of her headdresses.

They were both warm and welcoming, so well prepared for anything, helpful and informative and easy to work with and the time simply flew by!

The images I saw on the back of the camera looked so good and it was a pleasure to work with such an in sync duo!

Every time it's creativity, fun, care, laughter, banging shots, great music, cool outfits and awesome conversations!

I go away so lifted afterwards and so excited to see what our Jules will get up to with the edits! They are beautiful. This shoot was no different!! The hat series was stunning, very proud to be part of it!

I had a fabulous shoot with Jules and Moose over the weekend at Sandon studios.

They put together a Hollywood style shoot and brought along some beautiful styling and lighting equipment to get the desired effect.

Loved this shoot, such lovely people, easy to work with, fun and professional.

Can't wait to work with them again, thank you for a lovely shoot.

Jules and Moose always 100% professional, fun, friendly and down to earth, I absolutely love working with them. They are so creative both with lighting and styling, each time they have a different concept and each time it is brilliant.

Had another fab shoot with Jules and Moose!! They always communicate with me prior to the shoot, tell me their ideas and theming for the shoots in advance and accept my input also.

They always turn up with props and a selection of clothing and photography equipment as well as water to make sure I’m hydrated.

Communication prior and after the shoot is always exceptional. I thoroughly enjoy working with them, they’re both lovely people and so creative! I would definitely definitely recommend them both!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jules and Moose twice now and they’re both such lovely people, down to earth, funny and friendly not to mention creative.

The work that goes into their headdresses and outfits is amazing and they know exactly what they want to create when shooting images.

Communication prior to the shoot is always excellent and they always provide a brief and a print out of the sort of images they want to capture.

I love the fact that I get to embrace my creative side when shooting with them and would definitely recommend them.

I’m still buzzing from our wonderful shoot last week! 

Jules and moose are AMAZING to work with! I adore them !!



Pre comms were so quick and precise, nothing left out and really clear.

I was picked up at a station near by (well sort of close !) and taken to the shoot location.

We absolutely knocked out the looks in crazy time, a truly great team. The styling…..omg, Jules is a truly talented creative designer. I don’t think I could quite express just how good, to give her the justice she deserves, you’ll just have to shoot and see!



Both Moose and Jules photography skills are fantastic and they work really well together just as they do with you !

I modelled for Jules at Scorpion Residence for just an hour and it was totally wonderful! She and her partner are absolutely lovely, adorable, full of fun and enthusiasm!! Really wonderful :-D

Jules replied to my casting fairly last minute, and sorted the deposit swiftly, arrived on the day at the right time, was fully professional and considerate, everything went smoothly! We got super gorgeous shots in the short time, used lots of the beautiful clothing pieces and accessories Jules had bought and made, and I fully enjoyed the time!

I'd be extremely glad to work with them again and can absolutely recommend them :-)

I had a wonderful shoot with Jules and her partner Moose . She contacted me about a costume she wanted me to model and I was super excited to do so . The costume took time to make but Jules kept me up to date in communications .

When the day came there were a few hiccups , however we got there in the end . Jules works very efficiently , she has an idea , knows what she wants to shoot and gets on with it . No unnesccsary shooting . In terms of the costume , Jules is very talented and it was beautiful . I really enjoyed working with this couple .

Far Forest Studio

We were pleased to welcome Jules and Phil to our studio today for their first visit.

Very professional in their approach. They had excellent pre shoot communications and came well prepared for the session knowing exactly what they wanted to achieve.

Lovely fun outgoing people away from the camera as well as during the shoot, which made for an excellent relaxed working relationship with us as well as the model.

Some superb results from the day which seeing back of camera should create quite a stir when released.

All in all a perfect team who we would recommend to any studio or model. Hopefully now they know where we are we will see them again many more times in the future.

I was very pleased that Jules and Phil booked me again, this time for a winter shoot as we had already done an Autum themed shoot.

I was so excited for this shoot and it was even better than I could have imagined. We had 2 hours, and Jules and Phil were very helpful when it came to times as the shuffled the shoot around so I could get the earlier train home which was much appreciated by me!

When I arrived everything was set up, lights etc and I was welcomed by an amazing wardrobe with headdress, handmade !!! The headdress was just stunning and I felt very proud to wear and model it!

We got through a few outfit changes, and I think the back of the camera shots looked amazing!

Working with Phil and Jules is just so much fun! I laugh so much - they are the lovelies people ever! Definitely some of my favourite people to work with ever!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY ME!
