Richard and I recently arranged our first outdoor shoot since lockdown and it was such a joy to get to work with him again.

Shooting outdoors with Richard on a fairly rainy morning was a great opportunity to become more connected with the elements after being predominantly indoors for months. Richard always has a plan B, I know he had a few potential locations in mind and he picked a fantastic spot which looked magical in our rainy shots.

Richard captured some sensational images of me dancing in the rain, holding an umbrella and walking barefoot on the train tracks. As always, Richard was really attentive to me throughout - he even created an improvised tent to keep all my props and extra garments dry from the rain! Richard always puts me at ease, which really shows in the images.

I couldn’t possibly praise Richard highly enough, each shoot with him is an amazing experience that I cherish. Thank you for a great day Richard and I look forward to working with you again soon.

I've worked for the first time with Richard last Saturday, at the New Upper Mills Studios, and what a pleasure!! Richard is a very talented and creative photographer, but also a genuine artist with a good eye for details! Before to shoot he showed me his book in which there are all his beautiful artworks and I was even more excited to work with him and create something similar images.

We've created some beautiful pictures with some fabrics and I was genuinely impressed just seeing the back of the camera.

Richard is also such a lovely guy, very friendly and easy to work with. I've really enjoyed working with him and I'm very happy he booked me again for September, I'm really looking forward to it.

I had an absolutely fantastic shoot with Richard today. We shoot on location in Bristol, I was modelling vintage alongside Retro Rob.

I’ve worked with Richard before and was impressed the first time by his professional, friendly approach. This guy really knows his stuff when it comes to photography and he’s easygoing and very enjoyable to shoot with.

I was really thrilled that Richard liked the location and his keen eye picked up some super settings for us to work around.

We had several showers and the sun was going in and out but none of this fazed Richard and we had a very productive shoot. Both Rob and I were very happy with how Richard captured us both and I can’t wait to see the final pics!

What an absolute pleasure it was working with RLux and the model Melany at a location shoot today in Bristol.

The weather tried it's best to slow down proceedings but RLux proved that no matter what nature tries he can still produce the magic .

A peek at the back of the camera showed some truly gorgeous shots that I can't wait to add to my portfolio .

I had the pleasure to with with Richard on yet another of his brilliant street shoot projects.

We arranged to shoot on a beautifully-lit windy morning in Bristol and explored some amazing locations across town.

I’m always really honoured to get the opportunity to work with Richard, his creativity and warmth are unmatched and he is such a joy to be around. I love being in his company and I consider him one of my very dear friends in the photography community.

Prior to the shoot Richard gifted two very beautiful large prints of our work together through the years which put me in such a happy mood. We had a brilliant day out and time flew by ever so quickly.

Richard has already shared a lot of the images with me and I’m absolutely delighted with the results.

I would of course recommend Richard very highly to all creatives and I look forward to working with him again in the future.

Another fab shoot with Richard. This time at F/8 Studio in Gloucester. He booked me on my 1-1 studio day. We where working on nudes and abstract shapes which i really loved doing. It was good fun. I would recommend him for sure because he is easygoing and great at giving direction to let you know what he wants. I hope we get to work together again soon. Thanks a lot for booking me.

Richard and I had spoken previously before our shoot about setting something up to work together; but with geographical separation and dates just needing to line up mutually right, we didn’t always manage to fix something in the diary. But that doesn’t matter because finally: we did it! :D And you know what? We smashed it! All that “shebang” they say about it being worth the wait and not giving up when things don’t transpire the first time - oh so true and a have an utterly wonderful day on location in my memories to show for working with this real gentleman. :)

Now I can only offer praise to Richard in literally EVERY respect of this shoot... His communications were fantastic (I was touring the South-West and setting multiple shoots over my dates in the area, so a photographer that communicates well is a particular godsend in these circumstances!) But I must additionally point out his efficiency and genius thinking to like us up with some superb locations for our session. Obviously I’m not local to the area, and it may only be a couple of times a year that I find myself down these parts so my ideas of possible sites were quite limited on that front - but Richard sorted us out with brilliant variety and creative possibilities in scenes/backdrops and genres to cover which complimented. :D From artsy nudes clashing with harsh dark beach rocks to night light backgrounds back towards the city offering the perfect urban fashion scene. WE HAD IT ALL! All thanks to Richard’s quick and smart thinking/local knowledge. What a total star... :)

Our first stop on the shoot was the beach location (get the best of the afternoon light etc.) and we met up as per the message arrangement at a handy car park nearby: well prepared and ready for the short hike and subsequent picture making. Obviously being winter time, we were mindful of keeping an eye on weather and so forth: but we had a good fine day with pretty well-behaved light that remained constant. We were blessed also with the location that Richard had selected being quiet so we could crack on in peace away from the public haha. But no sooner I saw these stunning natural formations to make shapes against; Richard was completely insistent that I take breaks when I needed to for warming up and to work within my comfort. It’s very clear that he thinks highly of the models happiness and safety on a shoot - also from what he was saying about past events he’s been on with modelling working in extreme conditions. His enthusiasm to create is through the roof, but his thoughts and consciousness for those he’s working with is very much at the forefront of his mind which is extremely positive and reassuring for any model thinking of going it outdoors with Richard. He’s a good egg! :)

We generated some divine quality in photos the moment we got into the flow - simply looking in the back of the camera at the raw scene captured was a real high as the teamwork and mutual creative thinking bounced from one brain wave to the next. It was all about really extracting what we could out of the sites: and Richard is a photographer who literally has bundles of thoughts flying out as he assesses a place and his thinking cap works. He bears a genuine eye of an artistically-driven photographer, but also respects what a model brings to the shoot too and is game for having a mad model running around getting excited about opportunities they spot! :P Down at the beach, yes I was straddling and climbing rocks and crevasses galore, but to be fair - so was Richard to get the cool angles! He really put the work in to do the pictures justice, and it was the same story back in town for the night fashion stuff. Composing and framing up the scene with the illuminations in the distance and rocking the ambient light that happened to be available. He really is an adaptable and passionate guy in putting the best into his work. :) I also saw this in the printed work he showed me on the projects he’d been working on - full appreciation! Seriously! Because there’s a lot to think about behind the lens in coming up with interesting photos which pop.

And to wrap up - what a nice guy!!!! A fellow scientist, so of course we hit it off instantly haha! But just in general: he has the biggest consideration for models, a wonderfully friendly nature, professional approach and is someone you could chat away to all day. We had all manner of interesting natters from the moment we met up to when we parted ways. :D I had a lot of fun working with Richard, as well as a great feeling of productivity.

As such; I recommend him sooooo highly as a person and photographer. I hope to get the chance to work together again in the future. :)

I worked with the fantastic Richard at F/8 studio recently and I had such a blast! Richard is incredibly creative and I love his current wide angle project, using such wide angles can be intimidating at times however Richard put me at ease by explaining his project and I loved modelling for it. A unique and rare opportunity to work with someone so creative and I enjoyed every minute. As well as being incredibly creative he is also relaxed, friendly, warm and easy to chat to.

I'd admired Richard's work for a while so was delighted when he booked on a studio day I was hosting at F/8 Studio, Gloucester!

Richard is a highly professional, friendly, considerate and talented photographer and I really enjoyed our shoot. We worked through a range of looks from fashion nude to art nude and came up with some really lovely shots.

The two hours flew by which is always a good sign and as you can see from the images that Richard is loading, the results are really lovely.

I always love shooting with Rich...I took Rich to 3 locations outside and he loved them...we were so lucky with the weather after the last 3 days were raining but today was just perfect for us...Rich is always good fun (especially when he shows you the pose he is looking for you to do with amazing expressions haha)...I am very comfortable around Rich and enjoy his company...Rich has amazing editing skills and I am so excited to see the results...

This was my second shoot with Richard. I always love working with him and was really excited when he booked onto my studio day at pozers studio in swindon. I love looking through his images here on PP on quite a regular basis because you can always be guaranteed that they are magical and imaginative and just differant from the norm on here. He really is a creative breathe of fresh air. So when he arrived i was really excited to see what ideas he has this time and he did not disappoint me! He had brought with him a few things to play around with to create some effects in the camera with out any photoshop. He also brought glass ball and i was to be a mystic type person. I mean the images we took just blew me away and im not just saying that. Im so happy with the way everything turned out. The ones he has uploaded so far deserve way more attention than they have been given here on pp. But i love them lots and lots. I would recommend him for sure as you will get lovely images and have fun shooting them too. Thanks a lot for a great shoot.

Another wonderful shoot with Richard, this time a whole day during my most recent tour.

We worked at a variety of beautiful locations and the weather was well and truly on our side.

I absolutely love working with Richard. He is organised and always has a plan of what he wants to achieve, his resulting images are always beautiful too! :)

I worked with Rich again, this time on my most recent "Icelandic Dreams" trip along side a large team of creatives! We had worked together many times before over the years and I consider Rich a very good friend of mine, so I was so excited when he said he wanted to sign up for an adventure! :)

We had 6 photographers, a second guest model (the sensational Pippa Doll) and an amazing Icelandic model I had booked especially for the trip (Johannsdottir) which I had kept as a surprise for later in the week, working alongside Icelandic Horses!

Plus two designers who very kindly lent their stunning designs to me for the trip! Added to this, we were staying in a luxurious Villa which was a real treat!

Its always nerve wracking organising such an event and trip, especially going into the deep end together on a week long trip, but Rich is such a gentleman to work with- extremely kind, softly spoken, very respectful and a great team player. He is a complete gentleman and I love being in his company.

It was an extremely challenging and cold trip (mentally and physically) for the models, modelling in minus temperatures on ice, snow and water- but we were very fortunate with the weather later in the week and even saw a beautiful display of the Northern lights three days running!

I really enjoyed working with Rich and could highly recommend him to all creatives. My only wish is that I had more time to natter in the evenings rather than sleep after such intense model days! :) I would love to work together again in the future!

I recently organised another AMAZING CHARITY STUDIO DAY at the fantastic Pozers studio with the proceeds going towards a little girls disabled chair.

The proceeds of the day reached a whopping ***£1300***, all thanks to the kind generosity of the photographers attending on the day and those that gave further donations via the Purpleport forums.

Rich was one of the photographers who very kindly bought a ticket to the event and I was so grateful!!! We had initially had a slow start and I really appreciated the support! Rich is such a lovely kind gentleman to work with, someone I consider a friend and I really enjoy his company. The photographs taken on the day were beautiful and I really appreciated his direction and input also.

We were also very lucky with the weather and able to take advantage of the beautiful woodland within the grounds for some natural light photography! Thank You for everything Rich and I really look forward to seeing you in October!

Thank You for being a major part of this charity mission to buy the little girl her chair- we made it! :)

Had another awesome shoot with Richard. We roamed around Dartmoor and we even got to go to Wistman's woods which I have wanted to do a shoot at for a long time. Richard was totally up for a good walk to get to the best locations and brought all the equipment he could possibly need.

Richard was happy to listen to the different angles to take shots from and I think we worked very well together. We got so many great shots and I can not wait to see them.

Richard and I shot on location all across Dartmoor today. Every detail was perfectly organised helping our shoot to run smoothly with everything arranged through communications, therefore I can't fault the pre comms!

He once again brought his overflowing bag of materials and we managed to capture the perfect images as I danced with the wind. Richard is full of good ideas and continues to bring them forward throughout the shoot, I really enjoyed today!

It goes without saying that Richard is a very talented photographer and a proper gentleman as well, making me feel more relaxed and calm from the get go, this of course enables the model and photographer to get those all important images!

Truly enjoyed every bit of todays shoot, and I couldn't recommend Richard highly enough.

I had my first ever shoot with Richard today at PoZers studio, he showed up on time and with a good idea of the kind of images he'd like to achieve.

He was very polite and respectful throughout the shoot, and we had some very interesting conversations about art! Speaking of which, he is a true artist, and I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of his artistic photographic vision and I really look forward to seeing the results!

I definitely recommend Richard to other models, and I will certainly shoot with him again when I am next down this way :)
