I had an absolutely amazing shoot with Richard last week and I cannot recommend him highly enough! We shot in my garden with some of Richard’s awesome smoke pellets which worked really well, and he has already shared some of the images which are just incredible!

Richard was really kind and forthcoming from his first message, and as soon as he arrived he was very obviously a truly lovely gentleman, very respectful and easy to talk to, and made the whole experience one of the most fun shoots I’ve had in a long time!

So aside from being an all round lovely person, Richard’s work is obviously more than just photography, it’s art, so you won’t just have a great time, you’ll also be in some incredible images with a lot of skill and passion packed into each photo :-)

I had the privilege of meeting and working with the talent that is Richard Wakefield today, at studiofiftyeight to create some imaginative images. A completely new concept for me and I was out of my depth with this, I’m happy I was given the opportunity to be out of my comfort zone and explore something new. Richard arrived prepared and along with Rob who was assisting, both very pleasant and had good patience with me to get the right shot in the limited time we had , I did rely on his creative skills for this one to get the right image in mind which I’m keen to see how it will come out - to have the experience is extremely appreciated, I’d be thrilled to work with Richard in a heart beat his work speaks for itself, very professional and outstandingly talented as well as friendly and easy to work with, given the limited time we had I am confident we got the shot we were aiming for 😊

Highly recommended if you get the chance to work with him don’t hesitate to take it.

I am SO impressed with this guy. I'm a huge fan of his photography, the geezer clearly has near supernatural skills, and his video skills are amazing too. Richard shot a behind the scenes document of a big shoot at my studio and edited it together. Now, I've done this sort of thing myself before but only very basic (I'm not much of a video guy), but Richard's video is lightyears ahead of anything I've ever done. It's all so slick and professional, dynamic, atmospheric, even pretty compelling to watch! Why the hell isn't this guy a millionaire working in top media companies? Aside from the outstanding levels of expertise he pulls off with unsettling ease, he's also a brilliant bloke to work with, very friendly, and so, SO easy to get along with. Richard you are a dude! I hope we get the opportunity to do this again many more times. Thanks buddy!

I don't think I could find right words to describe this amazing artist!!! One of the most pleasant, hard-working and lovely person I've ever met during my 5-6 years of modelling.

To start with, I've always been impressed of Richard's work: his creativity, versatility and polished to perfection images always captures attention and brings you to some magical lands. After receiving news that he is willing to work with me I was literally jumping around because of happiness and excitement. We managed to book a

shoot on beautiful day in Oxford area with a lovely @phoebehaytermua (on Instagram) and it was the best day ever.

What impressed me the most is the amount of effort, time and energy he puts to the shoot. These are just a part of all the things he done for this shoot:

- He shared the number of ideas we could do.

- Scouted for beautiful locations.

- Looked for right props.

- Maintained absolutely perfect .communications pre, during and after the shoot (!!!!!)

- Always has been very excited about the shoot.

- Picked me up and dropped me to the train station.

- Made sure of my comfort all the time.

- Has been an incredible company (we had some lovely chats and laughs).

- Accepted my idea to make a rooster from a pillow and made it super realistic !

- he stepped to nettles just to capture the amazing pictures

- Edited a huge number of beautiful pictures that are loved by everyone...And many more (I could literally continue the list forever)!

On top of that, Richard could be easily called a Usain Bolt in photography because of his amazingly quick edits that are in highest standards possible. Even the most technical pictures he done literally next day!

I would recommend this incredible artist any day for any type of projects (commercial, creative and etc) with a confidence that he will deliver it with 10000% awesomeness. Can't wait to work with him again in future.

The shoot with Richard was very nice, we found some really cool edgy spots and he is a very creative mind, flexible and able to improvise on the spot.

It was so warm and still we managed to shoot some really cool stuff even in the smallest corners Richard is able to recognize potential. I think it’s fair to say he can work anywhere in any circumstances.

It was good to see we got along and were able to do some really nice shots together, I’m looking forward to the results and any form of working together in the future.

I would highly recommend working with Richard to anyone involved in the creative industry, keep up the good work!

I had a Shoot with Richard over the weekend in the Cotswolds it was booked via Instagram but i thought i'd leave a comment here

Richard is a sound and friendly guy, easy to get on with as well. Social distancing was applied on this swimwear shoot in a outdoor location, he is a very muticuless photographer, well planned and has a great eye for a special shot and knows what heres doing, can't wait to see the images we no it will be special

hope to collaborate again Mr Wakefield when I'm looking competition ready to be continued mens health magazine here we come :P

I defiantly recommand Richard to models that wanting to work with a talented and professional photographer on there shoot and projects

I responded to Richard's casting call for a post apocalyptic group shoot. Comms were spot on, very helpful & informative & the shoot day was awesome.

Richard is very knowledgeable, helpful & very easy going.

Sooo OMG where do I start?! ...Well, I have wanted to work with Richard for a loooong time! I was so pleased after over a year of talking our diaries finally matched up and we booked in our shoot. I was not disappointed, each and every image was insane!

Richard's skill with lighting is above and beyond, after modelling for him I would love to go on one of his lighting workshops to learn more. He really knows what he is doing and how to mimic natural light or switch it up and create punchy mood lighting and even helped bring my cloud and thunder idea to life.

Conversation flowed freely with ideas changing and evolving throughout the day, Richard was easy to get along with, and the time flew by, before we knew it the sun had set and we had to part ways. It was sad to say goodbye knowing how many more ideas we had yet to complete, but all the reason to book another shoot ;)

All in all a wonderful day full of smiles, creativity and smashing out the perfect shots!

Wowwwwww, first word that came to mind after working with Richard!

Richard is clearly a top photographer as his images really show this on his port.

Not only dose he work extremely hard to get the shots/locations

Perfect,he's also a fantastic guy, very professional and gives of great engery whilst shooting.

We shot at the most amazing location featuring 100s of mannequins, Richard got phenomenal shots which are now my favourite to date, edits were also received in days.

Couldn't recommend enough

It was great to meet Richard and work together on a conceptual artistic project. We had a very epic walk around the woodlands and covered the entire of Hampsted Heath looking for a magical forest that didn't exist. :) We set up and shot three sets in a short space of time, and produced some wonderful images. I would like to shoot with Richard again, he is a really lovely guy and very talented. Highly recommended. :)

What a lovely friendly guy Richard is! I felt comfortable and relaxed as soon as he walked through the door. We had such a laugh through out the shoot and was forever chatting away. He helped me out a lot with direction when I wasn’t too sure what to do and even risked braking his neck just to be able to get the right angle 😂 Great at communication and arranging the shoot before hand and I will highly recommend him 😊

Still trying to find the right words to give this guy the Justice he deserves! WOW!! I am just so blown away with the natural talent of this guy! a warm hearted, kind and caring person so down to earth who really loves what he does and is so passionate about every detail.

My first time shooting with Richard although his name is legendary in the photography world, It was truly worth the wait after months of organising (due to venues letting us down) and I really hope it won't be the last.

His pre comms are excellent and is always bouncing ideas around and gives you a lot of help and inspiration.

He goes that extra mile for sure!

On shoot he was really chilled and fun to be around and gets you really amped up on set which is great for me! We got some incredable stuff which I just can't wait to see!

what a brilliant guy richard is.

we had an amazing day from start to finish, from car journey to shoot he was a true gent really easy going and great fun to be around.

lots of laughs were had through out the day but when it comes down to it richard really knows his stuff. great direction, open to input and knows his equipment inside out.

the outcome is already amazing and i can't wait to hopefully work with him again in the future.

highly recommend to everybody 5 star rating from me!!!

I have been an admirer of Richard's work for a long time so when he applied for my Peaky Blinders casting call I was more than pleased to be able to work with him. Pre-shoot communications went very well, we managed to find the perfect location that we were all happy with and on the day of the shoot Richard kindly gave me a lift from my hotel.

Richard is very polite, friendly and approachable. Straight away I felt at ease with him and the journey to Birmingham was a relaxed fun one.

Richard is great at giving instructions but he's also very open when it comes to suggestions. He is very creative and he did come up with some great input.

He sent us the first edited shot on the same evening and it looks amazing.

Overall a very enjoyable/memorable day and I would love to work with Richard again.

What can I possibly say about Richard! He's utterly awesome. We were hit with a problem just days before our shoot: our location had been demolished, but Richard took that in his stride, we got a new location and shot different outfits with Mad Max style cars. I had so much trouble picking favourite images as they all were so amazing, I'd recommend Richard 100% and look forward to working together again!

Had such a great time working with Richard today. To keep it nice and sweet, he is certainly nicest and most comfortable to work with.
