Henri Senders Photography

 

My photography is about meeting people and taking photos improvising and by intuition. I'm not looking for perfect bodies or perfect faces. I'm looking for beautiful people who inspire me and love my work. Enthusiasm and motivation are far more important than experience.

I work for trade. Me and my partner are used to hosting people for free, also for a longer time. I truly believe having enough time working relaxed and spending quality time (chats at the kitchen table, having dinner together, visiting Ostend ...) reflects in the images made.

 In November 2014 my first book ' In search of intimacy' was published by Lecturis. My work has also been part of several art biennales (Florence, Chianciano, Salerno and London), publications, editorial art books and book covers.

From 2019 on I 've had four solo exhibitions  at gallery Persoon, Eersel. The latest one August 24th-October 1st 2023 with reflections and some work behind windows a selection of more personal work I made through the years.
