I had the pleasure of been booked for my first group shoot with Peter.

Absolutely fabulous cannot fault the day.

Pre comms were excellent, Peter provided me with all the information, advice on parking, we discussed the day, outfits and styles. Very polite and professional. The day ran smoothly.

The group were a lovely bunch. Everyone was enthusiastic and easy to work with.

The studio was great and had everything I needed they even made me tea and provided me with biscuits.

I attended a group shoot/speedlight workshop organised by Peter which was great.

Pre comms were detailed and clear including plans for the day which we stuck to and then some.

He's clearly a passionate photographer with a great deal of knowledge. He was very generous with sharing this and I never once felt as a relatively new photographer any intimidation of that my questions were daft. Peter is a great teacher and I learned loads today beyond the content of the workshop. The downside is I've come away with a shopping list....

We've shot many times over the years, but for this shoot we ventured out of the studio and decided to shoot in my home setting.

Working with some gels and parts of the house that aren't normally used, we created some fantastic images. Peter really does have a great photography eye!

I would work with you whenever, wherever and without any hesitation at all!!!!

Finally got to work with Peter on my studio weekend at Zavod!

Peter wanted to try some Helmut Newton inspired images and made good use of the industrial section of the studio, he had a clear idea of what he wanted to achieve and together with Xenia assisting with the lights we created some beautiful cinematic style images!

I found Peter really calming to work with, I loved his vision and would definitely recommend!

Had a great first shoot with Peter today. Pre shoot communication was professional and to the point. He picked me up from the station and dropped me back off afterwards. We got through 4 different outfits in the space of 2.5 hours. Peter knows exactly what kind of shot he wants and is a great photographer. He was very chatty and friendly which made me feel very comfortable and at ease, the time flew by, and I really enjoyed shooting with him and could be my unapologetic self!

Just looking off the back of the camera, I know the pictures will come out amazing! Highly recommend and will definitely be working with him again very soon! Thankyou for a great shoot ☺️

So by mistake I messed up and did wrong year lol but that doesn't matter because the reference before still counts as I've worked with Peter McLean probably more than 10-15 times !! So he deserves the reference as I haven't gave him enough...

I reached out to Peter asking for help on updating my portfolio to what I like the best, as my styles recently have been repeated and I wanted people to know I'm still me and still flexible with my styles.

We worked on portraits,fashion and gels and I love everything about our shoot because not only was it easygoing like always but Peter loves themes and he loves his pictures to have meaning just like myself. we work so well together because we both want to portray art!! We want photos to have style and to be represented for all audiences.

I'm so pleased I stepped forward and asked peter to help me with this because I knew I asked the right photographer!!

Images always come out better than planned and some not even planned come out even better

I had a lovely shoot with Peter at his Studio.

He is friendly, professional, funny, creative, polite, helpful and makes you at ease straight away.

The time flew by very fast which always means a great shoot went on :D ! We shot a few fashion outfits of different styles, some lingerie and some artistic and tasteful nude using a black backdrop and also a white backdrop, then we decided to get a few on the box shots and we also experimented with a few gels for some of the sets during our shoot. I loved many BOC shots that I was shown, so I’m more than happy to say we got some cracking shots.. as usual ;) as a model and photographer never fail when they are working together harmoniously.

It was a complete pleasure shooting with Peter and I hope we get the opportunity to work together again. Highly recommended photographer! 🌟

I've worked with Peter lots of times in the past but was so pleased to have shot with him again last week! Having been in lockdown and then seeing him re open, was so lovely indeed. The whole say was great as it always is, always find Peter to be a very warm, calm, gentle and talented photographer!

I was most impressed by the measures that he and his partner Andy have undertaken in line with COVID-19 and I would certainly recommend Peter over and over again! The images produced were as always, superb and thanks so much as always and see you soon I hope!

I was thrilled to be asked to try out remote shooting with Peter. This was a first remote shoot for both of us and we arranged it to discuss later on a podcast that Peter does regularly. After having a few technical difficulties we were both really pleased with the images we got. We were both really pleased with. I love working with Peter be it on a photoshoot for his projects, group shoots at the studio or recording his podcasts. He is a lovely man and I class him as a friend. Highly recommended from me.
