Naomi Sumner

Hello I am a Manchester based model of Chinese ethnicity looking for paid work. I have several years of experience modelling (mostly on a TFP/CD basis or helping friends practice) and have worked with a variety of photgraphers and in different styles. These include headshots, alternative, shibari, dance, fashion, topless and nude. Have done both location shoots and shoots in a studio. As I have a background in performing arts (acting, dance, circus) I feel I can bring a range of emotions, characters and ideas to a shoot. I have good awareness of my body and the shapes it can make, am reasonably fit and flexible. My clowning training means I am not afraid to show expression physically and through the face. I also work as a theatre director which means I have a good sense of what is a striking visual image and am used to colloborating with other artists, plus an intellecual understanding of different artistic influences/intertextuality.
