I had a quick shoot with James today at Markeaton Park whilst we both had some time spare, & I honestly have absolutely nothing bad to say about James!

He’s a really friendly and laid back guy to work with, & although it was a bit nippy & windy out, we captured some really cool pictures with a wintery theme!

All in all it was a pleasure to work with James. I’d definitely work with him again & recommend him to anyone. :)

Mr Wilson is awesome! He took me to the shoot, carried my bags, got me to the studio on time and worked really hard to get great images. He attended my duo day with Jessica Taylor and I love working with him so it was great to be creative together. I think the three of us worked well as a team.

I love working with James! It’s always a massive pleasure and o know it’s going to be fun! This time he had a 1-1 tuition with white label and I was lucky enough to be the model. James is great to work alongside. He listened carefully to what he was being taught and then put it into action and created some awesome images. I had my second shoot with James last weekend at Map Studios.

James is such a pleasure to work with on a shoot...easy going, down to earth and laid back guy. He let me get involved in the ideas and styling for the shoot with me for great team work. We shot a bunch of fashion and fashion nude images that looked super cool and James has kindly sent me over the files to have a look at which I can't wait to go through as we got some brilliant images.

James is a super person to work with, 100% professional and I look forward to more shoots with James in the future :)

I had a lovely last minute shoot with James yesterday. He messaged me the day before to see if I was still available, and between us we managed to get the arrangements sorted very quickly.

I have worked with James before but it must have been nearly two years ago now! Last time was a location shoot, but this time we worked in a natural light studio.

James is so easy to get on with and working with him is fun as he is very creative and has brilliant ideas. We shot some more classical art nude, but then had fun playing around with some weirder/abstract shots too.

I would definitely recommend James and would work with him again! :)

James applied to my mini-shoot casting and he was perfect for it- we spent an hour shooting business fashion around the centre of Nottingham in a variety of locations. He's super easy to get on with, gets the absolute best out of locations (and models!) and I'd work together again any time. Highly recommended, and thankyou! :D

I worked with James at Map Studio a few days ago on my three day weekend event.

James was totally up for experimenting with shot ideas for the three hours which was cool! We did some super cool moody portraits and then some odd and funky wide angle nudes.

ElleJ joined us for a few duo's at the end and I really enjoyed the shoot- went by way to fast!

I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve worked with James. We just work well together and get on really well. This time he invited me along to his studio day with Artemis Fauna and he had previously asked her if I could jump in on a few shots with her. I am so pleased he did because I got to work with her. Love working with James. We arranged a quick shoot at my house to experiment with some new cameras he had got. He had a Polaroid and a Lego camera to shoot with and I couldn’t wait to get started. He is professional, funny and just a great guy to shoot with. I would highly recommend shooting with him!

A-W-E-S-O-M-E first shoot with James at Map Studios last month. We had arranged our shoot well in advance and discussed ideas beforehand with James sharing a pinterest mood board with me which I do think is the best way to get across what you would like to achieve from a shoot.

On arrival James was super lovely, friendly and chilled. Not rushing me, we sipped tea and chatted ideas and made a plan of attack. We worked effortlessly through each idea and set and created some stunning images from each set up.

We even managed to shoot a little duo with my partner Leon which are my favourites images 'duo' so far. The lighting was spot on and James had the perfect composition and edited them so beautifully that we 'nailed' the most wonderful shots together in the short time we had.

Highly recommended from me and I really look forward to the next one now,

Leon Lift

I may of only jumped in for 10 minutes at the end of a shoot when James was shooting with my partner Tillie but wow... I absolutely love the pictures we created! The lighting was set up beautifully and he absolutely NAILED the shot that we had in mind

I would really look forward to shooting with him properly in future as I have no doubt that the final outcome would be nothing less than incredible. He is a lovely guy and a skilled photographer, I would definitely recommend James, you will not be disappointed.

I had a fantastic shoot with James. His pre shoot comms are great and knows what he wants to achieve. This time he gave me a lift to Map Studios and I felt safe with him. He drove really well and made sure I was okay throughout our journey and shoot. I have worked with him several times now and I love working with him. We get on really well, have a good laugh and the images he creates are stunning. I can’t wait for our next shoot together and I would recommend him 100%.

I had a lovely time shooting with James at Map Studio- I've admired his work for ages and it was great to shoot together at last! :) We shot a range of different styles from nude to fashion in several locations around the studio and bounced ideas around throughout! He managed to find the perfect shooting spot- even if we was as contorted as me, haha!

I'd highly recommend him and hope to work together again. :)

I had the pleasure of working with James for the second time on Friday and what a pleasure it was. Thi time he booked in for a 1-2-1 tuition with Chris Conway and i was the model for this. I arrived at map studios early and James was already there so we stuck in a cheeky shoot before hand. James was awesome because rather than make all the decisions himself he was interested in my ideas and thoughts on things too. By the time Chris turned up we were in full flow of banter which was fab because the tuition was relaxed and a breeze. James listened to everything he was taught and took notes so im looking forward to see him putting the new skills into action. James was 100% genuine, full of fun and totally respectful towards me and i hope to have the opportunity to work with him again int the not to distant future :-) 100% recommended by me
