References for Kestrel

I had my second shoot with Kestrel today, a dual shoot with Hedy. Yet again, he was beyond helpful the entire time, from giving us lifts there and back, to providing us with food, drinks and plenty of breaks.

His studio is excellent, equipped with all manner of props, costumes and accessories, which are very fun to play around with!

Kestrel was more than happy to shoot some themes that we had in mind, as well as to incorporate his own ideas into the mix. He is great at giving direction and very conscious of the fact that modelling is a tiring exercise.

Would definitely work with again, I'm very excited to see the final images :)

I honestly can't recommend Kestrel enough! What a brilliant human being! I've had such a lovely day, filled with laughter and SO many different outfits. We worked in his cozy home studio, which had many hidden treasures! Kestrel gave me loads of tips and tricks for modelling - since I'm still very new to this side of the camera. Also letting me experiment with any clothes/poses that I wanted to, it was brilliant to bounce creative ideas off one another. Very much looking forward to working with you again, Ade!

And what an amazing time it proved to be - he absolutely blew me away with his personality first, that humour and gentleness are simply sensational, then he started taking photos and editing like something out of a fairytale....

Undoubtedly one of the best photographers I have worked with, I came away with not just stunning images but a friend who is the best host :)

I can't recommend this awesome photographer enough to all, he is the super sorcerer of snowdonia x

If you have an oportunity of working with this guy then you wil be privlaged. I would travel anywhere to work with this guy. The images and wild ideas are indescribable. I can not wait to have another shoot with him in the future.

I was really looking forward to shooting with Kestrel for quite a long time and when doing so I enjoyed it so much. Ade is very creative and skilled at photography and is very experienced.

He is also very polite,responsible and professional. Having a wardrobe himself of outfits and accessories to use if wanting to for a shoot.We went to various locations to shoot and may I say how stunning they were.

Beautiful nature, flowing streams,waterfalls and also his lovely studio for when the weather isn't as we would like.

Thank you also to lovely Mary for her hospitality as well as Ade.I felt comfortable while staying there while shooting,safe,happy and I thoroughly enjoyed the shootings and meeting Ade and Mary.

Ahh What a day! :)

I had my First shoot with Kestrel for the first time in ages! We left it far far farrrr too long, we are not letting that happen again and will hopefully be shooting again next week. He is truly awesome, no question about it. I couldn't be happier with our shoot and the results we got........ well so far the unedited versions have blown my mind. I cant wait to see the final results! His execution on every shot is perfect.

We were blessed with the weather..... for once and were able to do location work in some of the most amazing places. He really knows his way around the Welsh landscape.

The day was full of laughter, joy and general awesomeness, Ade is friendly, professional and a true gent.

Highly recommend, if you get the chance to work with him, you should definitely take it!

I simply wished Kestrel lived closer because I would be there all the time!!

Kestrel and his wife welcomed me in to their home for the second time and made me as comfortable as possible, he talks for England (just like me) and his images are inspiring.

I am always In ore when watching him work, so full of ideas and I was amazed that he got the edits to me in just a few days, some on the SAME day.

So I have definitely lost count now, how many times I have shot with the Amazing Ade. He is a true magical wizard and can produce absolutely awesome art! He will also usually give some of my more unusual ideas a try...even if they are a bit stupid ;)

This shoot had a large contrast in the work we produced from gorgeous location art nude to 'twatty/silly' stuff in the studio and I had such a brilliant time.

It's always so much fun coming to visit you for the weekend, I'm really excited for the next one! Thank you and Mary so much for your hospitality.

Highly recommend working with this genius! That doesn't know what he's doing but gets it right every time ;)

Ade is awesome.

Had my first shoot after a couple of years break, he was very accommodating as always. He gives very helpful guidance so you can catch the light better and give a graceful shape. He's really easy to talk to about modelling and the state of our world.

I definitely hope we can shoot again soon, when it's a tad warmer and we can get out and explore his locations.

Great guy, great to work with, awesome results every time.

I don't know where to start with this review, other than to say you'd be silly not to want to work with Ade!

We had a shoot planned in a months ahead, and Ade kept in constant communication advising me of trains, transport, dates, styles: everything! We discussed a few ideas but mostly left it up to how the day went.

I stayed over for the weekend and it turned out to be one of the most relaxing and rewarding shoots I've had. We shot for a few hours in the woods, then another few in the studio, and then again at a fab location and essentially went with how the mood took us!

Ade let me do some of my silly things such as swinging from a chain, and in return Ade introduced me to some new techniques such as body mapping with projections. The images that were returned (immediately and then even more over the next few weeks) are amazing, and show Ade's real dedication to making an image pop.

Ade is kind, funny, intelligent and creative and generally a pleasure to work with, Mary (his wife) is super sweet and accommodating and really made me feel like home.

We're planning our next shoot already, and I know it'll be a doozy!

I had my first shoot with Ade today and had a wonderful time! He came to pick me up and drive me to his house with its little studio. He and his wife were kind and welcoming, and made sure I was fed and happy. Ade has a great little studio with tons of costumes and plenty of interesting props to utilize. The photos we got looked fantastic and he allowed me to look through them and choose the ones I liked for editing.

I really look forward to seeing the finished images, and I hope to work with him again soon! :D

Another amazing shoot with Ade. He showed up on time and had lots of ideas. His studio has loads of material to work with and props which are awesome.

It was a really relaxing shoot and we had the whole day so we weren't rushed.

I love the photos and can't wait to work with him again :D

Several years ago, I had the opportunity to shoot ever so briefly with Ade. In spite of the brevity, I enjoyed working with him very much. It was also really nice that he noticed me tip-toeing into PP when I joined a couple of weeks ago and to be tagged in one of the images that we did. I hope to get the chance to shoot with him again.

kestrel is awesome, i love his style and i was thrilled when he accepted my request to work with him, i trekked up to see him and it was so worth it.

i took an assortment of items but kestrel said i didn't need the kitchen sink because he had bits we can use, that was an understatement as he has so many fantastic props and items to use, about 30 thousand miles of beautiful fabric. i really cannot tell you how utterly fab it is to work with kestrel, so nice, has brilliant ideas, he put up with me marching him all over the countryside, has some great locations, easy to talk and work with, a pleasure to be around, makes a great cuppa too

Ive always abmired kestrels work

And have always wanted to work with him - best thing ever !!

So down to earth , a joy to be in the company of , i met his lovely wife who couldnt of been more accomodating , such a lovely pair !

I went into our shoot thinking i would get 3 or 4 images that i really liked , well after choosing 10 later haha i was utterly gobsmacked by the images infront of me , he has such a good eye for the frame, detail, the whole shebang - everything works !

Thankyou for relisting my faith and realising what joy shooting can bring

What an amazing day!! I thoroughly enjoyed my shoot with Ade! I found him very easy to connect and relate to, encouraging, understanding, and very respectful. He was professional; he put me at ease, and made me feel very comfortable indeed. As it was only my second time in front of a camera, this was very important. I relaxed into the shoot very quickly and I feel like I have learnt so much from this experience!

He is very passionate about what he does, and I felt like we were two artists creating something together - I think we shared similar ideas and visions. I am excited by the prospect of developing this further!

Upon meeting both Ade and his wife Mary, I instantly felt that I would get on with them both, and that I had also made two new friends. They are truely lovely people, so very welcoming, genuine, caring, and kind hearted. I can't wait to see them again - and I am also really looking forward to going on another adventure and creating some more artwork in our beautiful country!

I arranged a shoot with Kestrel after he was recommended by another model.I had a great day although I was nervous to start with, he soon made me feel at home. I had great trying on different wigs and looking through the choice of outfits. I am very pleased with the photo's I have received so far and his communication is good, an excellent day/evening many thanks Kestrel and look forward to working with you again.

Kestrel is the first photographer I have ever worked with and on my first day working with him I was extremely nerves, had virtually no confidence in myself or even knew what to expect. I was made to feel right at home and quickly relaxed and became more confident as the day progressed. We have even received our first FPI for that first day working together.

I have worked with Kestrel a few times, practically at every opportunity I can, I love working with him and my confidence has soared and becoming more evident in the artwork we have been creating,

Its relaxed and very professional but full of fun and laughter. because what's the point if you're not having fun! So easy to bounce ideas back and forth with him and spend many hours coming up with even more projects for future days.

I had the absolute pleasure to meet this AMAZING photographer finally!!!

after admiring his work for such a long time, i decided on buuilding up my courage for a TF shoot, AND HE SAID YES!! i couldnt believe it!!

it was the best decision i couldve made :D i ad such a fantastic day with him, it was relaxed, fun, but most of all productive! we created some breath taking shots!

i was very well looked after also wit a lovely meal cooked by his lovely wife, wit my cup rarely emptying!!

i cannot wait to work with kestrel again!!
