Kenny Vice

During the last 10 months I was shooting mainly with models, families and babies. When I'm on holiday or on a business trip travelling to somewhere I also use my time as useful as I can and make some spontaneous landscape images. I love the shape of the woman body and show its bends and curves on black and white pictures using only one light source, when you have to use your imagination to "finish" the image. I like to do lingerie, topless and nude portraits and my confidence seems to be improving quick working with models or ladies with or without cloth :).

I work for money, but as I am still expanding my portfolio and looking for the opportunities to gain experience in different topics with different people, I do TFP as well. I like to know the person who I am working with, at least to be able to reflect something back to the viewer. The best appreciation is (after when the model loves the image) when a third person who knows the model recognises the mood she was in during shooting and tells: "Yes, this is HER".

If I would have to describe myself in one sentence, I would say I am a photographer, who recognises the importance of the details and utilizes the opportunities in the moments. I see myself as being creative, which I challenge during weekdays as a development engineer.

One of my motto’s is: there’s no bad experience, we learn from everything and take something useful with us. This is especially true in the world of photography. Of course I am also aware of that, so I put serious emphasis on learning and practicing.
