I am interested in taking photographs of, usually females. Quite what sort of photographs, I really often don't know. I am continually surprised by the results. Only I like them, but I essentially, I want to do the photographs that work in some way for the model. I mostly don't succeed in producing what I have in my head, but practice as they say, makes perfect.
I have taken photographs for 40 plus years in all genres but have enjoyed the discipline of photographing models over the last 2 years.
Although I use Studios, I now have a reasonably well equipped home studio and a large garden for work outside. There is a lovely wood at the bottom of the garden which provides masses of location possibilities.
I try not to follow straightforward shots but perhaps be just a bit different. There are a lot of models out there that I am keen to work with. It's just time and money that one needs!
I am looking to work with "interesting" models and to attempt to create interesting images. If I ask you to work with me, please do look at my Portfolio as I am producing more and more " dark and intimate" work which sometimes even I am not sure I like.
There are whole genres that I am unable to do and so have put up examples to illustrate this.
I usually expect to pay my models and give them shots from the shoot. However, these will be be the shots I like and not necessarily those the model may like. I really do not do TF work but sometimes, rarely, co-operate with a model I know if they request a particular type of shoot.
Having done mostly studio flash work I am now doing more available light shots - both low and high ISO. Done lots of this in the past, but not with models.
(If you like to have your music play while we are shooting at my home studio, please bring your player and we can plug in a loudspeaker.)
I now find I almost always reply - don't know how I did that!
