I got to work with G Jarvis on the 26/01/2018 (No relation) after answering his casting call “Bristol Wet Plate Shoot”

As I have a passion for all art and photography, I was really interested in how the whole process worked. I found G Jarvis, polite, friendly and easy to get along with and felt immediately at ease. I found the whole experience really interesting.

G Jarvis talked through each process and it was amazing seeing the image come to life in front my eyes. I was really happy with the end result. I would happily work with G Jarvis again in any future projects he may have. Thank you – looking forward to working with again very soon.

I had the real pleasure of working with G Jarvis when I was in Cardiff. It was an incredible experience seeing him work with his wet plate photography. It's a really beautiful and satisfying process. I absolutely loved being in the dark room with him and watching how it all happened and seeing the image appear on the plate was so lovely. We arranged a two hour shoot on a collaborative basis but I ended up staying for probably four hours in the end as it was just fantastic!

G Jarvis is a really chilled, easy going person to shoot with. Plenty of tea was on offer (but I don't think I even drank a cup as I was so interested in what was going on to think about my tea!).

I would absolutely love to work with him again if I'm that way. It's such an incredible craft. His house is full of plates and prints. I really enjoyed seeing his other work.

If you get a chance I couldn't recommend working with G Jarvis enough!
