References for Ivory Flame

I had the pleasure of welcoming Ivory Flame back into the ManCave this week, working alongside two of the other finest fine-art nude models working today. Bringing together a fantastic trio of talent. I knew at the outset that my proposed project required reliability and unquestionable talent, ability, professionalism and beauty. You really do get all that and more with IvoryFlame. We produced some fantastic works and i'll for sure be working again with IF on future projects. Had a really really lovely shoot with Ivory Flame on Tuesday!! She was even kind enough to offer me a lift to and from the shoot!! As always Ivory Flame was warm, friendly and a delight to work with. She is very considerate of other models when she is working with them, making sure everyone is comfortable, happy with the poses and tries to ensure everyone looks their best! She is really easy to work with, happy to listen to other peoples ideas as well as suggest them.

Ivory Flame is so graceful when she works, she moves so elegantly into poses and creates the most wonderful shapes. It goes without saying she has a beautiful understanding of art nude and this really helps during a shoot to create stunning images, she understand lighting, what poses work best with it and the most appropriate moods and emotions to convey. What's more she knows how to work with other models as a team to get the best results. She is a true professional as well as a really caring and lovely person.

I even had the pleasure of having a lovely lunch with Ivory Flame after the shoot and got to know her a bit more and once again I can vouch for the fact that she is such an easy going, nice and fun person to be around!

It was a delight working with her, everything you could want from a model and more, everyone must work with Ivory Flame!!

Having modelled alongside Ivory Flame several million times and also been photographed by her a few times, I thought I'd leave a long overdue reference...

Ivory Flame was a huge (huge!) gateway for me into the world of modelling, in that when I was only just discovering the whole world of modelling for photography, Ivory Flame's portfolio was sailing in the high seas of exquisite wonderment, and was an absolute pleasure to discover. Being so awe-struck by her images was a catalyst for me in beginning my own journey, before which I'd mostly only modelled for a painter. I now consider Ivory Flame a close friend and know her very well, which perhaps puts me in a unique position to speak of her character alongside the usual accolades of the striking hair, beautiful marble skin and graceful posing.

I think Ivory Flame is truly unique in that she is so deeply focussed on having good intentions in life and in her work. Those who work with her know that she is hugely patient, gentle and understanding. She is also very open-minded and accepting, calm, non-judgmental and creative, wanting always to do the best job she can. She describes herself as having a 'positive spirit' and I would definitely agree with this. She's always very thoughtful.

Her tastes are very varied and so are her abilities, and she thrives in different styles. She is also a very talented photographer who has provided me with some beautiful portfolio images in the past.

Modelling alongside her is always easy and we always have a laugh talking absolute nonsense to each other (about good-looking fauns and 'waterfall arms' among many other things that keep us on the same narrative wavelength during a shoot - we are definitely VERY PROFESSIONAL ALWAYS, ahem!) - she also readily puts up with my rubbish (/hilarious) jokes - and, more seriously, we are both absolute perfectionists, analysing our poses and seeking to do better, and this works well for us as a team.

All in all, Ivory Flame is deservedly a 'big fish' in the modelling world, and well worth the attention she receives. Oh and she looks EXACTLY like Millais' Ophelia - it's actually quite alarming. Did she fly back in time to pose for him? Probably.

She made this my best shoot ever,her knowledge of photography and her creativity to get the best shot was outstanding.

Ivory worked very hard and managed to interpret my concepts very well, always easy to direct and posed very creatively. She brought excellent floaty dresses as well as using the props I supplied. I am sure I captured some great images.

I worked alongside Holly today on a Yerbury Workshop.

I found her really easy to talk to and she is such a beautiful person inside and out! Very kind and gentle personality, up for a laugh and a great sense of humour :)

On top of it being a pleasure to be in her company, she is an absolutely incredible model! Her experience really shows and I am massively jealous of her hair (it's even more gorgeous in person!!)

I would happily recommend her to photographers and other models, hope to work with her again in the future :)

I have photographed Ivory Flame numerous times over the past eight years in various genres. Holly has been one of my favourite go to models, not only for her rare and distinctive beauty, and her elegant, diverse poses but also because of her incredible artistic knowledge and wisdom. Her ability to understand any vision and project I may have has been valuable. With Hollys help I have always gained optimum results in our shoots and I am very proud of everything we have done together. Holly is the consummate professional, hardworking, thoughtful and imaginative and her interpersonal skills have meant that shoots have always been good fun and relaxed. Most recently we shot in various locations around Western Australia and the energy, ideas and enthusiasm she bought with her left us with some beautiful photographs and some amazing memories.

I can't say anything about holly that hasn't already been said, she is absolutely awesome and is probably the best art model in the milky way galaxy! She always arrives with a great selection of clothing to suite the shoot theme and is totally dedicated to getting the best pictures possible. It was a cold rainy day in Newcastle but holly was unperturbed and it didn't stop her getting colder and wetter in the river for some mermaid shots. Holly is a true professional and you would be a fool to turn up the chance of working with her. She is highly recommended times a googolplex!

Holly had been on my radar since I joined Purple Port, and finally an opportunity arose that was too good to miss, working on location at Purton boat Graveyard. Holly arrived at the meeting place on time (with fellow model Ella) armed with different outfits to suit the theme of the day. She is so easy to work with producing poses with little direction and provides her input to make the shots work. Even though there was a freezing cold wind blowing Holly never flinched or complained and I hope it won't be too long before another opportunity to work with delightful lady arises.

It was a cold day when I shot Ivory Flame on a Film Photo Academy workshop at a very interesting location. But she looked utterly beautiful throughout and did not let the low temperatures deter her. She has a unique and very appealing style, constantly poses immaculately and responds very well to directions. Ivory Flame is a natural beauty, very professional, completely charming and very pleasant to work with. On this shoot I got some of my best model shots ever.

I highly recommend Ivory Flame and hope to work with her again before long.

Holly was working with me on two recent workshops, in the woods and on the beach.

Both days were not as warm as they could be but Holly was terrific through both days. She worked hard, pulled out some great looks for all the photographers on the workshop.

Wonderful shoot with Holly and Raphaella at Pipewell Hall. Several years since I last worked with Holly but she made the afternoon so memorable. I must not let the opportunities to work with her drift. Always helpful with artistic and technical input, it was a delightful time with some outstanding images. She had organised everything to perfection. The weather was difficult but Holly was most enthusiastic about working outside in a difficult location to obtain exactly the images I was looking for.

Figure and Form

Ivory Flame was, as usual, just wonderful. We had an early morning trip to a local castle/hotel before guests arrived for breakfast, and then spent time re-creating one of Gustav Klimpt's images 'Danae'. This is where she shows just how good she is: a difficult pose to hold, and her own close observations of the Klimpt image revealed a details that we had missed. Flame is fantastic, charming, and a complete professional. She always makes us smile and we always get wonderful results.

Somnolent Images

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Holly - something I wanted to do as soon as I saw her portfolio and I was thrilled that she came up to Scotland recently.

We shot with pieces from UK-based designers (a dress and a headpiece) and she brought along her suitcase with things we could use from her wardrobe. Holly was absolutely lovely to work with, very friendly, knowledgeable and sweet. The photographs were astounding, and I especially loved our second look (which took more effort, but was very much worth it!). It was evening and getting colder, but she was very professional and shot without complaints or any difficulty.

She is so incredibly talented and I cannot wait to work with her again!

Another different location and themes for our annual shoot! Losing track of the number of shoots with Ivory Flame now but this makes it at least six - more than any other model. Holly is always the consummate professional, very creative and knows exactly what makes a good picture. She never lets her or your standards drop and always strives her utmost for the best quality. This time is was a derelict location and we produced some varied but hughly satisfying images. Holly puts up with my inadequacies but her class always shines through :) Thank you Holly, you are always a joy to work with!

I was invited to assist and shoot with Ivory over the weekend by my fellow photographer and friend Brian Millar of AGMD design. Having shot Ivory before I was delighted at the opportunity to shoot such a fantastic and amenable young lady.

Not much I can add to the already glowing references that haven't been alluded to already but if you cannot book her due to her busy schedule you may get an idea of just how good and how popular Ivory flame is.

A fantastic model at the top of her game for many years to come and will remain there as long as she continues to model. She is also an accomplished photographer on her own and is always happy to contribute ideas to any shoot without being over bearing.

A 3 day shoot with Ms Flame and deftly assisted by Ian Coyle a very accomplished photographer and friend. The sun shone, the temperature barely rose above 9c, but on location; by the sea, in ruins, an abandoned and derelict Psychiatric Hospital and Urban Landscape in Edinburgh Ivory was simply proficient. With wardrobe and her personal MU skills adapting in each scenario without any prompt.

Always chatting through what I was trying to achieve, checking the progress and uncomplaining when we had to repeat elements. Using her diverse knowledge drawn from her repertoire and experience to tweak an angle, pose, direction of light .... for me behind the lens.

This was a 3 day shoot and to extend Scottish hospitality 2 evenings spent in restaurants pleasantly. At no point of the 3 days a complaint or comment suggested any negative element. ?

All photographers Ms Flame worked with whilst on her visit to Scotland have received references ... even my assistant who did just that --- simply assisted. A glowing reference. Which leaves me to believe --- on this second occasion --- I am irrelevant and offended beyond significance.

3 days that in Ms Flames judgement deserves not a single jot? Please explain?
