I recently took part as a model for a Film Noire themed Studio Evening at Ian's Studio and had a brilliant time. The photographers who took part were very welcoming and had some brilliant ideas of what they wanted to shoot.

Ian himself is incredibly knowledgeable and gave both the photographers and myself some great tips to achieving the perfect shot.

I look forward to getting the opportunity to work with Ian and the Studio again very soon and would 100% recommend to all budding photographers and models.

I attended another training day at Ian's yesterday. Ian is very thorough in the preparation and the creativeness of his lighting set-ups. Anyone who is interested in learning and understanding flash techniques should attend one of Ian's studio days, not to mention the constant supply of tea and biscuits!

I attended my first group shoot at Ian's Studio (clear slime night) and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Ian was an excellent host and able to ensure that both the model and the togs were all at ease and able to focus on taking great shots - I appreciated receiving advice from this expert photographer when needed. A small, but very capable and flexible studio, ensured the event was very well organised and professional. I look forward to returning some time and highly recommend Ian's Studio to you, whether as tog or model.

I attended the "Less is more" tutorial about implied nudes with the beautiful Aurelia posing for us. I really enjoyed the evening, Ian gave me a lot of tips, he was very helpful and explained step by step how to use the lights in order to get the desired effects. We have used different backgrounds as well to add a different flavor to the scenes we were shooting. Thank you!

I attended a 'Friday the 13th' themed horror group shoot at Ian's Studio last week. The evening was well run, plenty of kit available and the model chosen was fantastic. Ian is an absolute pleasure to work beside. Very helpful, makes the experience fun and supplied drinks and doughnuts :D Will definitely be back soon!

Worked at Ian's Studio yesterday. Very high quality studio with a wide range of heads, modifiers, backgrounds, props, flags, gels, papers, etc. I honestly don't think there was anything missing.

Ian was extremely helpful, initially helping me set-up the first lighting style but then happy to let me get on with it - he also makes a cracking brew :)

Very highly recommended.

I had a shoot at Ian's studio earlier this week. It's a wonderful space with many props, backdrops and professional lights etc!

The events that are put on each Friday are very varied and look really interesting too, I hope to shoot there again in the new year!! :-)

I modelled at Ian's Studio this month and during 2011! In total I will be modelling 3 times at Ian's studio during August. Ian's studio is small but do not to fooled by the size of the studio, with plenty of photography equipment, props and lighting and Ian's professional photography skills.. The photography results are amazing! Hoping to model at Ian's Studio on future Manchester modelling tours.

I was a model at one of Ian's workshops last week and I had a brilliant time! Me and Ian did some TF prior to the workshop to make the most of our time at the studio. I was extremely relaxed and felt very comfortable with Ian. He explained the look he was going for and gave great direction. I cannot wait to see the pictures! When the others turned up for the workshop they were all so lovely and made me feel very welcome. The evening went so quickly and didn't feel like work at all. I would recommend Ian and his studio any day and really hope I get to shoot there again soon! Thank you Ian

I was a model for a group shoot at Ian’s studio last night. I have been a model for these events several times now. As always everything was planned perfectly and run smoothly. All photographers equally took it in turns and got on together really well. Ian’s group events flow with ease due to Ian’s structured style. I always enjoy being a model at Ian’s studio lots of friendly faces, a great atmosphere and you really get looked after. I would unquestionably recommend Ian’s studio to all models and photographers. Been attending Ian's Studio Photography classes for 5 weeks now and I've learned so much in a very short time. Ian is very helpful and quick to point out strengths and weaknesses in your techniques and compositions. Highly recommended and I look forward to attending many more classes in the future.

I had the pleasure of working at Ian’s studio again yesterday, I had a great time shooting water images, its superb that his studio has the facilities to organize these great styles of shoots, I am so pleased I applied for this casting as the pictures I saw on the cameras are just what my portfolio is looking for. I would definitely recommend Ian’s Studio to other models and photographers, it has a huge variety of equipment, lighting, backdrops, props and much much more.

Had a shoot with andy in Ian's Studio a few days ago and I really enjoyed it. Great studio to work in with some fab lighting and backgrounds to be used. Also have a great little changing room with a mirror to get ready in. Would love to shoot here again :)

Yesterday i had my model slot day held at ian's studio. I was such a great day and ian was so helpful and the studio was perfect with everything myself and the photographers could want.

Great studio and in a great location 5mins from the station-highly recommend :)

i realy should of left a comment about ians studio a while back

i first attended ians studio some 4 months back and since been a total of 3 times and plan to attend alot more of his workshops

i have been able to lern so much as a amateur photographer as ian is always on hand to offer help and advice highly recomended

I spent the day in a studio with Ian doing a test shoot, this went really well and i was really pleased with the pictures. I also did an event that evening for him. It was for portraits, we went out and found different locations.

I really enjoyed both aspects of the day. They were great shoots and Ian's great to work with.
