After having previously worked with David at Thomas Holm’s dance workshop at AURA late on last year, he booked our second shoot together at my home last Friday. The booking originally began as a 5 hour duration and ended in 7 hours with two extensions as we were working through ideas so well. We worked though a multitude of sets with differing styles and also experimented with not only natural light but also the studio lighting and different reflectors that David brought with him. The BOC images looked great and I look forward to seeing the final results. Thanks for a great first 1-1 of ours David, and I hope to work with you again soon!

I worked with David for the first time at Thomas Holm’s dance workshop held at AuraPhotographic last week and was really glad to have the opportunity to shoot and connect with him so much. David is very personable and an attentive tog and I truly look forward to seeing his work created throughout this fantastic day. We are already in discussion about organising at 1-1 shoot at Aura once again so that David can put the skills he learnt throughout the day into practise in time that is just his and not shared. I look forward to this day and recommend any other model to shoot with his too!

A great start to the seasons changing with an Autumnal themed shoot with David today! I believe this was Davids third location shoot ever and you definitely could not tell!

David showed a wonderful range of creativity on today's shoot - a great eye for detail as well as good technical knowledge of Photography and what makes a good photo.

David was friendly, very considerate and good fun throughout the shoot. The three hours completely flew that we actually ran slightly over as we didn't realise the time! I felt that David was completely respectful of me and also the general public of where we were and felt completely at ease with him. Pre comms were good and the back of camera look like we have created some great Autumn portraiture.

David and I are already planning our next shoot. This time Boudoir. I absolutely recommend him to other models. Thanks for an enjoyable day David :) x

Yesterday I had my first shoot with David which we had been planning on for quite some time now, so has been a long time in the making! However, I was definitely not disappointed and on first meeting I knew immediately that this was someone I was going to work very well with and get on just as well with as a person.

David very kindly picked me up from my home and drove us to the hotel he was staying at for part of our shoot. He very kindly helped me with my bags and immediately offered me refreshments whilst discussing shoot ideas.

Just recently I have been having some further health problems with my stomach and of course this has been having a massive affect on my confidence. On speaking to David about this I found him to be an absolute godsend to speak to. I had obviously mentioned this during pre comms and David wanted to know exactly how it was affecting my confidence so that we could work around this to get the best angles whilst managing to make me feel as comfortable and confident as I could.

We shot some beautiful sets in the hotel room which I have worked in before, with the beautiful old style vintage furniture as props and backdrops I was able to easily use these to my advantage. David, staying in this room for 2 nights had managed to assess the room beforehand, how the lighting fell on the room and moved throughout the day and also to work out the best features to work with, he is if nothing but a perfectionist.

Once we had everything we wanted (even though we could have shot all day in this room, ideas were flowing!) we moved on to the second part of our shoot on the beach of a beautiful nature reserve nearby.

Whilst the walk turned out to be a little far from the car to the beach front, we finally managed to make it. Our ideas were to get some lovely sunset shots, however, the sun was very strong and only cast shadows shooting toward it setting in land, so we settled on a serene set nestled in the sand dunes which I was more than happy with looking at them after the shoot. David was also very happy as he has never done a beach shoot before. Unfortunately, the wind decided to change direction and became very cold out in the open, but once we started to walk back in land it was surprising how the wind died down!

We finished up our shoot alongside some beautiful fields on the path back to the car, chasing the sun back, which was the perfect end to the day for me.

Looking at the images on the back of the camera in the warmth after our shoot blew my mind! Lots of lovely images, lots of nice images and some wow images that we've never seen before done by others, which we are very proud of. And of course he dropped me off home after the shoot too like a gent 🙂

David is wonderful to work with, a true, honest and caring gentleman as a person and as a photographer he is very creative, visual and a perfectionist. We both worked so well together because we both like to take our time and pay attention to detail, get it right there and then. As a person David is also understanding, compassionate and all wrapped into a great sense of humour!

Working with David has been a pleasure and an honour and I would easily and happily work with him again. I would 100% recommend working with him to other creatives who take their jobs seriously because he will work to get the absolute best out of you.

Thank you so much for travelling so far to work with me and having faith that I could deliver the shots that you set out for. It was an absolute pleasure and I really hope to work with you again in the future.

We had our first shoot recently at the X Factory. I really enjoyed our shoot - we had lots to talk about and I was made to feel at ease from the minute we met.

Our shoot went so well that we even extended it for an hour longer! We have discussed shooting in the future and I will look forward to this :)

I would absolutely recommend to other models.

David and I shot for the first time on Sunday in the Bluebells in the Cotswolds. Davids pre comms were good and he was a friendly photographer from the start. David was very chilled out and positive when I met him. We went to the Bluebells and tried out ideas together. David has a good eye for detail and thinks about the whole shot - framing the image and other aspects. I liked this as David made sure the composition of the shot was always good and flattering for myself. His knowledge of shooting was good and I found the direction he gave very helpful and again flattering. David was creative on our shoot and also very open to my ideas. He was respectful at all times. I felt relaxed around David like we had shot before. David showed me back of camera images and they look really good and I am keen to share some. Definitely a good first shoot with David, I would shoot with him again if the opportunity arose and would recommend him to other models of course :)

I honestly don't have a negative thing to say regarding our shoot.

It was really straight forward and easy organising the shoot with no crossed wires at all. You arrived on time with all the gear needed to get the appropriate shots. The conversation was endless with no awkward moments throughout the day. Friendly, funny, polite but completely professional at all times.

Another super shoot with Dave, this time at his Home Studio. Everything was set up and ready when I arrived, the coffee and biscuits flowed and the time flew by. We worked through a variety of genres playing with lighting and ideas. As always Dave was professional, considerate and a joy to work with. A definite recommendation from me.

I had my first ever shoot with David, and I’ll definitely recommend him.

It’s not easy to turn up at someone’s house, someone you don’t know and never saw in your life. But David was welcoming and he helped me feel comfortable. He’s a great host who’s been kind, offered refreshments and even a takeaway after the shoot.

David was great in his communication, before, during and after. We took the time to discuss outfits and props, I listened to what he had in mind for the poses and took his guidance. After the shoot I received the photos pretty quickly, was able to make a selection which he then edited. Only took a couple of weeks, which was within his deadline. A great professional.

I hope our paths will cross again. It’s been a fantastic first experience for me.

First shoot with David and the theme with lingerie/boudoir.

Lovely gentleman, both full of ideas and open to ideas, professional but also comfortably friendly. It was very relaxed and pleasant.

Allowed me to view the images taken on the camera screen and delete any that were definite "no's", there and then.

Received the final edited images a week after the shoot and I'm very pleased with them.

Overall, very happy and would happily work with David again.

Would I recommend? Yes! 🙂
