I was lucky to meet and work Mick and Peter (Lakeside Images) on Wednesday the 1st of February. Mick's pre comms were first class and I was really looking forward to shoot all together from Mick's home/garden studio which is awesome :D We shot for about 6 hours and time simply flew by ! Mick is very accomodating, professional, easy to work with and loved all the photos :D

Very highly recommended and would love to work with again :)

Simply wonderful, in all aspects!

Let me paint you a picture... It was a rainy and rather cold summer day in Sheerness, so the idea of not being able to use Mick's GORGEOUS garden made me a bit sad as I was really looking forward to this original, unique, all natural backdrop. Also I was a bit slow in the morning, before the coffee really kicked in ;) BUT on the positive side, we could use the flowers inside the studio, and I found out my favorite flower is magnolia, I had a wonderful time posing for Mick with some of his flowers being my co-models, and I can't wait for another chance, this time outdoors in the beautiful garden!

To summarize - what a gentleman, what a garden, what a lovely shoot!

I was lucky enough to shoot with Mick again in Yorkshire for a day and a half :) the sun was shining, and we went to a series of stunning locations! Mick really looked after me with lovely food of my choice, lots of tea and had a great plan for the time we had. Mick is extremely laid back and loves the great outdoors, as do i. All I can say is awesome team work, and thanks for making it a very special occasion! Very professional and great company. Hope to catch up with you again soon.

Mick booked me on my first ever tour of Kent so I had the chance to pop across to the lovely Isle of Sheppy which was amazing for me as I was still getting confidence up with the car and coordinating things on travels. His communications were brilliant, I had quite a busy schedule but he did his best to work around it so that we could manage to shoot and was clear/concise with what he wanted to shoot. The best thing ever for a model who is trying to arrange several shoots happening over a few days... Mick recognises this and is so easy going/supportive.

Now I had barely got through the door and he was offering me yummy goodies and energy stores for the shoot! :P He's got a wonderful professional temperament and a big heart - it goes without saying that he looks after the models best interest and delivers the best possible etiquette with so much courtesy and respect. Being treat well on a shoot makes you feel so much more positive as a model and it shows in the shots for sure.

We worked at his stunning home studio, taking a tour through one of the prettiest gardens I have seen! His studio is superb and so well kitted out for shooting... there is a designated changing area for the models, great space for shooting different sets and utilising the area as productively as possible and tea is always on the go! :) Very comfortable and kept warm for the models welfare.

Mick had a few different ideas he wanted to shoot; he's got a talented eye for grasping a pre-shoot vision and then making it happen using creative lighting and a good team rapport with the model... sometimes (especially if you have never worked with someone before) it can be uncertain if the specific idea will turn out exactly how you had in mind... But Mick makes it happen with his epic technical knowledge and know-how. :) Fabulous photographer!

As we whizzed through the sets with such a creative flow, there was a lot of nattering too, a lot of laughing and generally getting on like a house on fire. He's a very sweet person, the easiest in the world to get on with which makes a shoot more relaxed and enjoyable from the word go. The time did seem to go quickly too which is a good sign! :D

I cannot recommend Mick enough, he's a lovely person, fantastic photographer and I truly hope to work with him again!

Artemis Fauna

Another super shoot with Mick- alongside Peter again but this time at Micks home location- well, his lovely garden studio :)

Due to the high winds the bridge was closed, but we eventually made it and had a very productive shoot.

It was lovely to catch up with Mick and shoot again- we took some brilliant images and I got to shoot a style I haven't really done a lot of before- and had a blast! Can't wait to see the results!

I worked with Mick alongside another photographer recently, Mick was so lovely to shoot with, really relaxed and he made sure I had lots of breaks. He was open to my ideas and also tried out a few different lighting set ups, the images look great on the back of the camera and Mick was respectful, professional and really nice company. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mick and I will be working with him again in January :)

I just came back from a very nice shoot with Mick and his friend Peter.

Mick have a wonderful house, garden and studio which is a dream to shoot, he did all to make you feel confortable in his home, put the heat in the studio, doing some tea ect...how lovely it was! He's super adorable and friendly!

We've done a great artistic nude session, i can't wait to see the results!

After having to cancel a shoot with Mick due to illness, I was thrilled when he offered me the opportunity to work with him once again, recently. Our shoot yesterday was an absolute pleasure - It didn't feel at all like a first shoot. Mick is very welcoming, and wonderful to work with. His garden is stunning, and it was such a pleasure to be there. Mick had planned some really interesting concepts for our shoot, and I really enjoyed throwing myself into them! The 3 hour shoot absolutely flew by :) Mick is a lovely person to work with, and I very much hope that our paths cross again in future - thank you Mick!

Mick recently attended an event I organised at Pipewell Hall. He was very friendly and patient in communications leading up to the day, which was extremely helpful whilst I arranged time to suit everyone involved. He was a delight to shoot with as always, professional, relaxed and considerate, bringing some beautiful outfits and capturing some stunning ideas with myself and Raphaella. I very much look forward to our next shoot! :-)

I've had a few shoots with Mick over the last couple years and each one has been lovely :)

He is a extremely good host, always makes you feel welcome and makes sure the shooting space is nice and warm so you don't get too cold.

He is also very respectful and just a genuinely nice person to be around :)

It has been few years since we shot together, and it was so nice to shoot togeher again, time just flew by!

I had two shoots with Mick this past week, one on a workshop ran by the Yerbury's and the second at his studio and garden's alongside 2 other photographers.

Mick is such a great person to work for! He looks after you extremely well, even with little things like bringing me my robe during the workshop. He is also a fabulous host when using his studio and gardens.

Honestly couldn't think of a nicer man, just a total gentleman :)

I worked with Mick at Paul's event at the manor house! Mick had many different ideas he wanted to try in the art nude styles. He was so friendly and positive so we were able to go from set to set without hesitation to produce some wonderful images. Such a lovely, genuine, kind person. I feel totally comfortable working with him every time and the shoot just flows perfectly. I like his style of photography, it's very beautiful, artistic and creative.

We had a shoot in my area at a nearby Abbey whilst Mick was on holiday in Yorkshire, we couldn't have asked for nicer weather and the locations we shot in were just stunning! I really enjoyed the shoot and Mick's company as always is lovely :)

Had a lovely shoot with Mick today in his home studio. Charming personality, made sure I was comfortable during the whole shoot. Shooting went very smooth with different light set-ups and settings with some stunning assecoires (loved the chair). Communication before and during the shoot was spot on.

The weather was bad so I hope I will have another chance to shoot with Mick in his own home oasis better known as garden.
