After such an amazing first shoot we worried that we’d set the bar so high, but this second shoot smashed it out the park! What a great day!!

Even though I’ve only worked with Dave twice, it feels like I’ve known him forever. We get on so well and are totally on the same page when it comes to creating which makes for the best shoots. We carried on from last time and expanded on a few ideas from before. We also experimented more with oil and water, adding syrup in this time. Dave bought along some globes which we used to project light and they worked way better than we imagined.

We get creative, we get artistic and at the end of the day I’m left saying, WOW!

Dave really knows his stuff and the images are credit to that. Again, I’ve already got a handful of edits and I can’t wait to show you how beautiful they are.

Dave! You’re amazing and I love creating with you!! Thank you for another awesome shoot! I literally can’t wait for the next one!

Wow! What an awesome shoot!!

Pre comms were spot on! Even in message I could tell Dave was sound and that we’d get along. After discussing ideas and seeing his port images, I had to try and tone down my excitement prior to the shoot so not to scare him. Haha! Aaand it was a million times better than I’d imagined!!

Dave is awesome!! I showed him around and what I’d picked out to shoot in and we got to it. The natural light was beautiful and Dave captured it perfectly. He’s a fantastic photographer. I was able to free flow my poses but Dave gave direction when needed. We made a great team! We covered lots of different styles and got really creative too which I loved. Looking at the boc we just bounced off each other more and more.

I’ve already got a handful of edits to share! We have our second shoot booked in and I can’t wait!!

It had been a very long time since I last worked with Dave so it was delightful to book a beach trip in Wales.

The shoot was perfect apart from a few inclines and a bit of burny sunshine.

Dave is just ace to work with.. super relaxed and chilled.. and takes very lovely and creative images.

I thoroughly enjoyed our latest shoot and catching up :)

Me and Dave shot again, and boy, am I glad we did!

He was kind enough to offer accommodation and pick me up from the easiest station for me, which was quite a drive for him, so thank you again!

Dave is really easy to get along with, has a tremendous sense of humour and is really friendly and respectful when shooting together.

I just love it when this man picks up a camera! Hes just brilliant with finding the right angles, he sees an idea when he turns up at the place were shooting and explains it to me, and i love it when we get the images back and it was exactly what we were going for!

He brings the creativity out in me and i find myself doing more diverse poses, a sign of a great photographer. We must have got our best shots in the last 20 mins which was all planned, 3 sets and we just smashed it out and got some amazing images from it!

Thanks so much Dave, its always a pleasure and cant wait to work together again.

Had my first shoot with David on Wednesday, it went amazing! Communication was on point throughout it all, we discussed some ideas on what to do on the day. David is really friendly and makes you feel comfortable! We shot some great images that I am so happy with, we did a wet room which was amazing and was my first time doing it!

Defiantly look forward to arranging another shoot together very soon!!

Dave is excellent to work with, very chilled, an excellent artistic eye, chatty, creative, and easy to get on with - we shot at Stephen Furlongers properties, which are absolutely incredible, a mix of fashion, nudes and emotive portraits. What a shoot!

I first approached David on purpleport because I really loved his work and also because he happened to live close to me.

I’m very glad that I did. He’s a thoroughly nice guys, generous with both his time and his knowledge.

I asked him for help in building my confidence with model shoots. He responded rapidly and brilliantly, introducing me to the lovely KatyB which resulted in a brilliant afternoon of creativity and genuine laughs.

Hes an absolute bloody diamond!!!

Weve worked together 3 times now, and looking back at what weve created my jaw drops.. theres such a variety of edits, clothing changes, wigs and angles of the image.. Dave really is talented at what he does, and he strives to be that bit more different and he is still happy to learn from himself everytime we shoot together, which i just love! He certainly knows about his lighting, and how harsh it would be and if that would fit into the type of idea we're aiming for. His style of work is quite relaxed.. which always results in amazing images which we had no plan for, we just meet up and the ideas just continue to flow.

He hosted me for 2 nights and was just brilliant, offering cups of coffee, he cooked me 2 delicious meals and happily drove me to a shoot hed arranged for me and even dropped me to a studio in Cheltenham on my last day staying with him.

Dave has become a good friend, he has a great sense of humour and shows nothing but absolute respect to me when im working with him.

Thanks, really happy our creativites collided and were making the fab work we are together!!

Had an amazing second shoot with David and it was even better than the first and am overly in love with the images we have created together

David is lovely and down to earth so much so we have formed a friendship !

David and I just connected and bounce off eachother and share the same creative minds whixh makes it so easy to work with David

The shoot was full of fun and laughter and I just had so much fun ! The images are bloody amazing and have already received a load of edits in a short turnaround !

So glad that I had David as the tog for my first home shoot. He's such a lovely, friendly guy - so easy to chat to and I immediately felt at ease. So, a big ol' yay to David, to start with!

Absolutely brilliant shoot we had yesterday, it had been in planning for quite a while before, which gave us time to have great pre shoot communications. He stated what sort of looks he wanted from me, and what style of photography we'd be trying, I had no doubts at all that we'd be able to get the images he wanted.

Within the first 3 minutes we were already laughing and having really easy conversation, so I just knew this wouldn't be the only time we'd be working together, he's a really nice, genuine and friendly guy to be around, with a great sense of humour.

His creativity bounced off me and we came up with some great ideas, and the 4 hours just absolutely flew by.. creating stunning images along the way.

He knows what angles work/don't work and he's always changing where he is to get a different perspective. What I love the most, is he's willing to try out different things and make them work instead of stick to the same style, I have a lot of respect for that and it really shows in his images.

I am really happy we worked together and sure hope it ain't the last time either, thanks David for a lovely day of creativity!

Ah the lovely David Craig Ellis! I'm soooo glad we got to shoot! :) I stumbled across his work with the amazing Holly (The Body Artist) and the style immediately struck a chord with me - I knew Dave was going to be on my wave length! Such beautiful urbex photography, with raw emotion and narrative... So I was super pleased when he contacted me to arrange a shoot!

We went off for a bit of urbexing, round an old mansion house. It's a challenging place to shoot, but I knew Dave would do well here. Really pleased with the images - Dave is good at seeing the dark grimey and gritty beauty in these sorts of locations, and he works well with natural light. He works quickly but encourages creativity to enfold and develop - which is the best way to do it with this sort of location work.

Dave communicates well, he is professional, respectful, friendly, and he looked after me well and made sure I was safe. He's very easy to talk to, and I felt very comfortable within his presence. He was actually really unwell on our shoot, but he still walked a few miles with me to the mansion and back through the forest - it's a lot more than many are prepared to walk! AND he even got his boots soaking wet, to stand in the ice cold river, as we tried some waterfall shots on the way back. I'd say that's pretty dedicated! (Or mad!).

I'm really looking forward to more adventures with Dave! We have talked briefly about the next one already, so I'm excited about that! 100% recommended - thank you ever so much Dave! X

Shot with the lovely David today on my studio day he was punctual arrived in very good time and early and well prepared he was fun to work with and also very welcoming he knew exactly what he wanted from our shots!

Pre comms were also brilliant and the images looked fantastic

I couldn't even tell you how many shoots Dave and myself my sailed through, it's become almost a ritual!!

We set a vague plan, throw a date in there then create magic!

As always Dave arrived on time, enthusiastic and rearing to get straight in. We went for some Erotica (he's one of a select few I trust to do this genre with as his level of professionalism is unbeatable, you're in safe hands!). Then moved onto location and jumped into Art Nude.

Generally, the shoot went without a hitch bar a small fall through a ceiling and us thinking it best to not push our luck with a soft wooden floor. But it still felt like a natural end, not rushed and we definitely got some gold in there.

I cannot recommend Dave highly enough, he's one to put on your book list!

This is way over due!

So the Epic now David Craig Ellis, drove up super earlier from his homestead to meet me for a day of fun down at the old farm.

Despite it being absolutely filthy, Epic Ellis took it in his stride and immediately saw what I saw......chaotic beauty.

We had yet another fantastically fun and hilarious shoot, bouncing ideas off each other and constantly seeing potential everywhere.

Dave is very easy to work with and I always get edits I am super proud of being a part of.

He's one of those photographers I could just keep on working with day after day and still find new and exciting things to do and produce.

I love the edits I've seen and I'm still excited to see more when this busy man has the time.

Just when you think he's done, you'll find an email packed with more images.

Can't say thank you enough for this kind gent putting up with my bursts of maddness and randomness.

Whether you are just starting out, or you are an advanced model, I would highly recommend working with this photographer.
