A hobbyist photographer in Lancashire. 

I came to model photography late on life, having spent many years trying to avoid having people in shot!  To slightly misquote Shakespeare, some are born to photograph, some become photographers, some have photography thrust upon them.  I fall into the latter category, having been given a camera at a very early age to keep me occupied while my father pursued his hobby of photographing steam trains.  Some time later, film was also provided and I followed in those footsteps, branching out into all manner of transport - large lumps of metal in the countryside, by and large. 

Model photography happened quite by accident; I'd been hit with the inevitable "you've got a good camera" request for some engagement shots and was forced to admit I hadn't a clue how to go about it.  There's a school of thought that says nothing's changed...

Anyway, I set about getting to grips with artificial light by booking a short portrait photography course at a local studio, met a great set of people who encouraged me to continue on the path, and stayed to join the weekly club night, and the rest is history, really. 

I've been lucky enough to work with some of the best models and photographers in the industry, who continue to teach me every time we shoot!
