Had my second shoot with David on Monday and what can I say? I love working with this guy! He turned up to the studio early so we didn't use too much time setting up lighting/backdrops etc., he was his usual lovely self, made me feel completely relaxed and at ease. We had a great laugh while producing some fabulous images! Plus he brings harribo, maltesers, and cold cans of coke to shoots! ;)

Would I recommend him...obviously!!

Would I shoot with him again...already booked in for the middle of February! :)

Brilliant shoot, was very fun working with him. We did well, he made me feel real comfortable in some parts. I would highly recommend him again! Would love to work with him again. He got all the images from what I've seen done brilliantly.

I had my first lingerie shoot with David and he was very professional and made me feel very comfortable. We focused on taking photos inspired by images I had put together and they were all very successful. As usual the photos were of a fantastic quality and I received them very quickly. I would certainly recommend working with David.

Pink Lady Makeup Artistry

Oh my goodness what a wonderful shoot I've had with this amazing photographer yesterday.

David employed me to create "Sally" from "A Nightmare Before Christmas", one of mine and his favourite characters from the film director, Tim Burton. David employed me to create everything for this shoot form the dress, props, wigs etc plus the body paint and was amazing throughout the entire process. His communication was amazing, I knew exactly what he wanted from start to finish and I also kept him posted stage by stage of the design and creation process. David spent a lot of time and thought ensuring this shoot would be amazing by scouting locations, watching the film throughout and capturing stills from the film to ensure we had Sally's most iconic and recognised poses, the correct props, back grounds etc. David constantly messaged me with ideas which we discussed and agreed upon, we shared a mood board together and unique takes on the films influence on our shoot.

On the day of the shoot he arrived at my makeup studio before the model and took "behind the scenes" images. He stayed for the full body paint and then took us to the location. Throughout the day he kept us in food and refreshments and ensured the model was comfortable and at ease and we had a really fabulous time. After the body paint was complete, we then went to the locations that David had scouted and he knew exactly where he wanted to shoot and what poses the model needed to do for which he had visually planned well in advance. After the locations we then moved onto the studio where David had everything planned from what lighting he wanted for each pose, the positions of the model and props and he worked exceptionally hard and fast to get the job done. He was totally alive behind the camera and full of so much energy, and was delighted with the images we got a s a team.

It was an exceptionally long day for everyone but the images we have are phenomenal and David really is my best client ever and I couldn't recommend him enough to any model, fashion designer, stylist, makeup artist, hair dresser etc etc. His work is always of an exceptionally high standard, his editing skills are amazing, his enthusiasm is infectious and his attention to detail could not be anymore professional every time I work with him. He is one of the nicest photographers Ive ever worked with and hope to work with him time after time after time. A huge thank you David for employing me to create our dream Sally, it was such a pleasure from start to finish, first class photographer with first class images. Thank you .

Dave came to shoot one of my models who was holding a model day here and it was a real pleasure to meet him. He is obviously a good tog and I know the model enjoyed working with him. he was very professional as well as respectful not only towards the model but also to my studio. A slightly beleated reference for a two day shoot with Dave a few weeks back. One of the days we had the pleasure of working with my good friend nina aswell. Dave is a wonderful guy to work with, very chilled out but with plenty of friendly of conversation and all the costa coffee you could possibly as for on a shoot. We had great fun on the locations and Dave had some wonderful ideas which were quite different and great fun to shoot. He also allowed us plenty of time to play with our own ideas. It was great shooting with you dave.

I worked with David for a morning at a Steampunk themed group shoot at Blackthorn Studio last weekend. He was friendly, polite, gave clear direction and was generally a pleasure to work with. He was also very generous with his umbrella when we were shooting outside - much appreciated! I would happily work with him again should the occasion arise, and recommend him to other models.

I've worked with David at several open evenings and once in the studio with my partner. He's taken many photos of me dressed in steampunk and vintage themed costume as well as the little mermaid (and Eric) and part of a 1940's couple aswell as casual dress and all of the photos have a consistant high quality. David is lovely to work with, he's very good at directing me (and my partner), and getting the photos back to me very quickly. I would definately recommend working with David.

I had my first location shoot with David a couple of weeks ago and it went really well. He was excellent at communicating with me before and after the shoot, he made me feel really relaxed and comfortable and we were able to produce some great images.

He was good at getting me a wide selection of the images very promptly after the shoot; and he even bought me lunch while we were there :D

Overall David is a lovely, down to earth photographer with some really great ideas and I look forward to working with him again in the future :)

He was so welcoming, friendly and kind! He went out of his way to look after me, even when he was finished his shoot! An absolute gentleman! I really enjoyed our shoot, Dave is relaxed and takes fab images. It's always a shame the time goes so fast But it's a good sign! :D

Pink Lady Makeup Artistry

I had the wonderful pleasure of working with David this weekend on a charity shoot with the stunning Helen Diaz and Aerlise. David actually captured their beauty perfectly in the captivating images we have so far, he never disappoints his audience. David makes his models feel safe, secure and comfortable throughout the shoot, and despite being very serious about his photography, he's always open to our sense of humour, has a laugh and joins in the fun of the studio environment. He is always exceptionally speedy with his first few edits,He just wet our tastebuds with a few tasters until he perfects the rest and I always wait in great anticipation of his images.

Every time I work with David he ups his game and he never disappoints. He is a kind, caring photographer who puts everyone first before himself and this makes him a very rare find in our industry and I really can't wait to work with him again. We have some really unusual projects planned and I can't wait to see David's images with what I plan to create. I would recommend David to every model, stylist and makeup artist. If you are looking for dedication, hard working and commitment than David is the man for you. First class gentleman and Photographer.

Dave very kindly came along super last minute to Spitfire Studios for a recent Charity Event I had organised, raising money for a much loved Cat charity I used to Volunteer at on an early Sunday morning! I was quite releived as Dave filled the last slot, which meant even more money for the charity I was raising funds for! :) I worked with Dave and model Aerlise, spliting our time between the main studio and the boudoir set/studio over 2 hours.

Dave was alot of fun to work with- professional but down to earth and someone I could have a giggle with! He put up with my (very bad!) sense of humour and was very easy to work with. We took some beautiful photos on the day and I am really looking forward to seeing them! Highly recommended and I hope we work together again soon! Helen x

I've had the pleasure of working with Dave three times now, once at a charity event with Helen Diaz and twice at workshops I have been modelling on at Spitfire Studio.

Dave is lovely to work with, he has a bubbly character and is chatty throughout the shoot with lots of laughs to be had.

The images Dave creates are amazing. I hope to work with him again soon and I would thoroughly recommend him to any model to work with.

What can I say... David is awesome!

I had a spectacular second shoot with him last week. We were in the studio for a couple of hours and then went out to a couple of locations. I had a wonderful day with David. He is such a good laugh and a gentleman. He knew just how to get the best out of me and we have some fantastic photos to show for it. I would gladly recommend David to anyone. :)

I had my 4th shoot with Dave which was a 2 day trip to the brecon beacons.

he was not only a great host but a very versatile photographer.

we work well as a team, bouncing ideas off of each other and got a great variety of of shots as well as having a fantastic time too. it was a shame it rained on day two but we didn't let that stop us.

he even let me keep my clothes on sometimes :)

would recommend Dave as a great guy and as a photographer.

I've shot with David on many occasions - first at open evenings, then at the studio on my own and on location at Woodchester Mansion with a fellow model, and recently had an all day shoot with a make up artist (Pink Lady) and Raven Black and Jessica Josephine. David is the only person who seems to be able to put up with the three of us altogether - I guess we're a handful. He's always full of good ideas, comes prepared and has a relaxed approach. Often giving us all lifts because none of the three of us can currently drive... He's a brilliant photographer and always gets photos to me/us on time, edits and always makes sure we're happy with the photos. I love shooting with David and would definitely recommend him.

Pink Lady Makeup Artistry

I was exceptionally fortunate to be employed as a makeup artist by David today on a creative, alternative shoot based on a Twisted version of Snow White. David decided the theme early this week and involved the models in all of the design and planning process. His communication is superb, he goes out of his way to ensure everyone is happy at all times. He discusses absolutely everything with everybody to ensure we were all happy and very clear about what was expected of us all. In the matter of days we had the title, design and relevant info we needed to make this the fabulous shoot it was. David ensured all of my costs were covered, including the costumes,wigs, makeup plus my usual rate and made sure I was happy with everything throughout the planning, and the shoot itself. David couldn't have worked harder, been any more organised and been any more of a gentleman to work with than he was, everything was exceptional and th day went smoothly, was fabulous fun, organised and I'm so excited to see the images after he has recovered from a bonkers shoot with 3 stunning alternative models and a bonkers mua.

I would recommend absolutely anyone and everyone to work with David and I am hoping to collaborate with David again very soon as he is such a pleasure to work with. Keep up the amazing work David and don't forget I can't wait to work with you again.

I had the great pleasure of modelling for David at Spitfire Studio a couple of days ago.
