I got the opportunity to finally work with Darren a couple of days ago. Kev (Lightyear) booked us for the afternoon together in Cheltenham and from the get go it was super. :)

Darren is a chilled out and really fun guy- super easy to work with and bounce ideas off. His physique is superb and I just loved his freckles!! Freckle envy! ;)

The shoot flew by and I think we worked really, really well together, in between the laughing anyway ;) hehe!

I can't wait to work with Darren again in September. Lovely guy and highly recommended!! :)

Well , another shoot with Darren and a completely different theme this time shooting with the lovely Artemis. Darren gets on with everyone so well that immediately we were all having a great laugh and really relaxed and because of that , the pictures are just amazing. Love working with Darren he is so full of enthusiasm and ideas before the shoot , great advice through the shoot and then brilliant at selecting and advising on edits afterwards. No hesitation in recommending Darren , you should definitely book him if you want to get some great pics and have a brilliant time doing it

I had the endless pleasure to work with Darren again on a joint shoot with several models and photographers. Darren is one of my favourite male models on here. I just love the way he poses and pulls expression.

He is full of ideas and so enthusiastic about the modelling. His body and looks are just awesome and he is such a lovely and down to earth character.

An absolute must to work with. Epic bloke, fantastic model.

I had wanted to work with Darren for a while, and recently booked him for a city centre evening location shoot. I found his communications before the shoot to be excellent, and of course he was on time, with all the clothes and accessories I had asked him to prepare.

I found the shoot to be very relaxed - Darren is easy to work with : tell him your idea, and he is totally on board and nails the pose and look you want with the minimum of fuss. He has a very expressive face, and basically "he's just got it" :-) - but you knew that already, didn't you!

For me the shoot was a total success, and I look forward to booking him again in he future. He certainly deserves his reputation as one of top male models on Purple Port. Highly recommended, and thanks for a fun shoot!

Had the absolute of pleasure of finally meeting and shooting with Darren on the weekend. I have always loved his work and glad this chance to shoot with him arose.

Darren is very laid back, friendly, easy to talk too and generally a nice person to be around. As a model he is very adaptable, can work on his own or with others extremely well. He also, poses effortlessly and has an awesome look.

We worked well together and managed to cover an array of different genres in a short period of time.

Will definitely work with Darren again and highly recommended him to anybody:).

I worked with Darren a bit on a shoot weekend up in London recently, I've admired his work for a long time and I was very impressed by him. He's so easy to get on with, Funny, easy going, has great ideas and works hard at the concepts and requests from the photographer.

Darren is very good at posing either solo or alongside other models, he's very good at understanding whats required for a shot, and comes up with variations effortlessly.

Would love the opportunity to work alongside him again.

I had the pleasure of a second shoot with Darren last week and wow.

He just improves every time you shoot with him! Always the gentleman, I couldn't feel more comfortable working with him. We met up alongside Diego, VanEyke, AnnaRose and Dale-Alexis for a fun afternoon of shooting.... And it was just that!!! We had an epic time, everyone worked together so well.

Darren is always bouncing with ideas, energy and creativity and it's always a pleasure to work alongside him, which I will continue to do until he gets bored of my face :-D

Darren is as listed many times in the references below an awesome guy to work with, so easy going and relaxed.

I got to grab a few shots with him while working alongside some other photographers on a shoot in London. Darren is great and was so cool about me taking images even though I was relatively inexperienced.

Had my second shoot with Darren and Dale Alexis during my stay down south. Darren is fantastic, we have a great rapport, we have the sort of relationship where we can rip the absolute p**s out of each other then the next minute be as serious as can be to nail the shot.

Darren puts up with my crazy ways, non stop talking and general weirdness all the while being the consummate professional :)

Seriously though the best model I have worked with, handsome, amazing body, a real gent and geez can express and pose like nothing I've seen!

I worked with Darren on some location shots recently in Clifton, Bristol. I had seen the quality of his images, so arranged a shoot with him after he was in the area. The pre-comms were excellent, Darren is a true professional and a cool guy, he brought his own ideas to the shoot, so we were able to bounce ideas off each other. Some of the more spontaneous than others! :) A really friendly and down to earth guy, he was able to pose and recreate the idea and deliver the expression and look I required. Delivering quality images with a strong narrative.

We tried out many back drops in and around Clifton down and Royal York Crescent, I look forward to working with Darren on other shoots, hopefully we can shoot again later in the summer.

I had the pleasure of working with Darren last week alongside him as a model, and shooting him as a photographer! On both occassions he couldn't have made it any easier, especially in the failing light in the evening, knowing exactly how to interpret the tiny bits of natural light left, and putting up with my haphaard chaotic way of doing it :)One of the easiest models you'll ever shoot and a lovely person to work with!

From looking at some of his images on his portfolio, you might imagine that I’m writing this at his dictation, with his hobnailed boot on my face! He’s actually a thoroughly good egg, really easy to get on with, and a lot of fun.

He is, of course, the complete professional, totally dependable, incredibly easy to deal with, and, as his portfolio tells you, will produce work of the highest standard.

I worked with Darren on a Jack Vettriano inspired couples shoot last week and it was a very pleasant experience. He is easy going and friendly and the shoot went by smoothly, quickly and effectively.

The day was a bit windy and cold but this proved perfect for the inspiration we were working toward.

Darren was great fun to work with and couldn't have been more helpful and professional. I was looking for a model with character and Darren gives this in spades. Before the shoot he kept in contact and shared ideas and on arrival he was totally prepared and ready to go. Booked Darren for a shoot with Marmalade(Helen),to be frank never ever have worked with a male model before or two people at once, what a fantastic person to work with has a totally relaxed and friendly outlook and a great ability to produce the perfect fit for the photos I had in mind.

Darren is able to give a gravitas to the photo and lift it with the perfect blend of ownership of his space and when needed take it down to a lower level, this is an awesome pairing and for anyone planning using a shoot with both sexes these two have a genuine way of making you think they have known each other for ever.

A second shoot with Darren , this time trying a dark and moody shoot around the docks and warehouses. Darren is so great helping with ideas, and communications beforehand were excellent as ever. Darren is a professional. I wanted a composite shot for an exhibition. I knew what I wanted and whilst it might sound simple it boiled down to plain character. Darren gave me exactly what I needed. He has plenty of character which he maximises very professionally. I would say he has potential to develop more character acting. This could certainly put into another level of modelling. Really good model and would recommend without hesitation.

I had an excellent shoot today with Darren. We tackled a wide range of moods in a restricted time period and he worked through them achieving exactly what was required, giving real added value to the shoot.

Extremely professional with excellent pre-shoot communications.

He is a great guy and I heartily recommend him.
