Had a fantastic shoot today, even considering how cold it was. He was very patient with me and I with him as we both had an understanding of the different obstacles we were both facing.

Can't wait to see the photos what I saw on the camera looked great. He has a fantastic eye for detail. Will defiantly shoot with him again in the near future .... When it's warmer :)

What a fab shoot with Chris yesterday, he is an incredibly knowledgable, sincere and genuine photographer, cant wait to shoot again! Chris works very hard in getting absolutely perfectly shots, that are beautiful, quirky and by using all different styles and techniques! Cant wait to see the results! thanks Chris!

I had my first outdoor shoot with Chris recently. Great communication before during and after. Didn't really know what to expect but Chris was so easy to get on with and so considerate that I felt instantly at ease. His concern about my safety, dignity and wellbeing was outstanding. He brought out the model in me that I wasn't sure was there and made me realise just how much I love doing it. Fabulous shoot and some super results. Looking forward to the next one.

I had a shoot with Chris on Saturday and it went great. He really helped me get back into the swing of modeling. He showed up on time, and was extremely respectful, both to me as a person and as a creative being. Chris knows a lot of really interesting locations and he is really accommodating about where you shoot and how comfortable you are at that location. The shoot felt like a creative collaboration more than anything. I would definitely recommend working with him and would love to work with him again myself.

I had a location shoot with Chris yesterday 17.01.16. Chris had A* communication from the start and was thorough with his ideas and check list, which was very helpful! Chris is friendly and made me feel at ease the entire time, l felt comfortable working with him and I was treated with dignity and respect from start to finish. Chris is a talented photographer and gave me good direction for poses -would highly recommend Chris! 😊

I've had a great shoot with Vhris today :) He's a great person, very creative, very careful and proffesional. He was taking care of everything from food to clothes, my hair, make up etc. i would love to work with him again. Highly recomand :)

Shooting with Chris was an absolute joy!

Communication with Chris was great before the shoot and he then drove all the way to me and arrived right as scheduled.

We didn't have a location to shoot but still really wanted to put something together, so we ended up doing a shoot in my tiny little studio flat. Honestly I was not too sure it would work or that we would get anything good, but I was amazed as Chris proceeded to turn my cluttered flat into an impressive studio! He is able to adapt incredibly well and 'turn water into wine' so to speak. This is a photographer who really knows what he's doing!

I was amazed by the shots we got, they look like they had been taken in a really nice studio, you'd never know we were in a tiny cluttered flat! He is very creative and gifted.

And I don't think I've ever felt as respected and safe by a photographer as Chris made me feel. He always turned his back as I was changing and insisted I wear my dressing gown whenever we weren't shooting. He talked to me the entire time and was great at directing his ideas, while also encouraging me to share my own. I felt very comfortable the entire time shooting with Chris.

After the shoot, he even bought me pizza! Very easy to work with and super great to talk to. All around great guy. I can't wait to work with Chris again. Seriously do yourself a favor and shoot with Chris, I can't recommend him enough.

Chris was an amazing photographer to work with. As I'm new to PurplePort and modelling he'd given me a helpful checklist beforehand which came in very useful in ensuring I had everything I needed for the shoot. He arrived at the location early and was friendly and easy to talk to. He drove me and my chaperone to some great locations. I really appreciated him bending the chaperone rule for me.

Chris is very knowledgeable when it comes to lighting, using the appropriate settings and taught me a lot by talking me through what he was doing with his camera, something I found very interesting. It's great to work with someone who really knows what they're talking about and works hard to get the effect they're looking to achieve. He was helpful with suggestions for posing and was patient when I had any difficulties.

I very much enjoyed working with Chris and can't wait to do another shoot. He remained professional and respectful but friendly throughout. So pleased with the final images and the speed in which he got them back to me. Merry Christmas, Chris! :)

He talked me through everything he was doing with his camera and lights and directed me well. Got the photos back really quickly. I can't wait to work with him again, would recommend him to anyone :)

An overdue reference

I had my first shoot with chris on the 20th November :) I would highly recommend chris to anyone from start to finish on the shoot it was clear what he wanted from model and photographer.

He made me feel comfortable and confident on the shoot.

chris is anamazing photographer and I am really pleased with the results I cant wait to shoot with him again :)

I have taken 4 separate full days of assisted hands-on training from Chris. Each of the training days was on a 1 to 1 basis specifically tailored to my learning desires and abilities. Each time we met Chris came well prepared, fully explained concepts, showed examples and various methods to “get the shot.”

For example; he brought several different light modifiers and a radio trigger set-up for me to try in order to give me a better understanding of them and how they are used. He continually demonstrated techniques for me to try and then he would assist me in perfecting those techniques.

One of the teaching methods he used was to give me scenario and then allow me to solve it. If I got stuck, befuddled or was unable to work out the concept he would assist me to work out the solution. Chris encouraged me to push my boundaries and gave me lots of ideas each time we met.

I would recommend Chris to anyone who has a passion to learn photography. He takes a reasonable amount of time making sure you understand the philosophy behind the shot, why to take it in a certain manner and then to also think outside of the box. Not only did I learn quite a lot from Chris but we continue to stay in contact with one another.

Had my first shoot with Chris today, and must say it was one of the best Shoots I have been to.

Chris was amazing with direction and listened to my ideas, we exhanged ideas over a little break, and have some really colaborations for another shoot.

Any challanges that were faced towards us today were over come and with great results.

Absolute fun with work with and a great sense od humour.

Would really recomend Chris to any model.

I really can not recommend Chris enough. This was the first time i had shot with him and we had an excellent pre shoot communication despite my laptop failing and various internet issues. He was so respectful in his suggestions for shoots and even sat me down before the shoot began to run through pre and shoot protocols.

This was a new style of shoot for both of us and we had the same ideas, i think we just needed warmer weather and less people around and i think it would have been everything and more. But saying that we had a brilliant shoot.

I could not feel more st ease with Chris. He is so respectful and very patient with me and although i struggled to get the poses we had wanted i felt that we nailed the ones we got. We clicked and i felt that i could have a very exciting modeling future with Chris.

I can not wait to work with Chris again.

Highly recommend.

This was my second shoot with Chris, he's professional, reliable, had loads of great locations to choose from, and was able to be patient with me as I was coming down with a cold at the time we were shooting!

Chris is easy to get along with , and the photos look great too! Would be happy to shoot with him again, and definitely recommended!

Ive worked with Chris many times on his personal projects, from this I can truly say he is an outstanding photographer and really knows his trade.

I have also modelled for Chris while on a 1-2-1 tutoring session, Chris is defiantly a top photographer teacher he tailors how he approaches each session depending on the students style, development and really allows the student to think for them selves, with the back up of Chris's knowledge in natural light, studio lighting, working and scouting a location and communication with a model.

I always have a great time working with Chris and looking forward to more shoots in the future.

As our first shoot went so well we had to arrange a second one for as soon as possible!

Unfortunately the weather gods weren't quite on our side but we still managed to shoot in a couple of awesome locations. Chris was very patient with me as it took me a little while to warm up (literally) but when we got into the swing of things the photos were nailed perfectly first attempt.

The thing I love about Chris is that we have the exact same visions for crazy, different and wacky poses. We bounce off each other and aren't afraid to explore weird things. Weather it's climbing up trees, hanging off the side of buildings or laying down in wet autumn leaves.

I was well fed with soup and nuts and what seemed like an unlimited supply of coffee. As always we had a fantastic day. Didn't let the rain or the cold stop us and got some amazing shots again!

Cannot wait to work with him again and have been singing his praises to everyone I know!

Chris was an absolute pleasure to work with. Extremely professional and very friendly. I was at ease as soon as we met. Not only did we get some fantastic shots but we had a lot of laughs.

His direction and ideas were inspiring. He was also very open to listening to my ideas, and was happy to do whatever he could to make the shot work.

I would highly recommend Chris to anyone and will without a doubt be working with him again in the near future.

We faced a lot of problems on the day that were neither of our faults and were mainly down to bad weather and a lot of travelling time to find dry places to shoot, this meant less time for taking pictures sadly.

When we did shoot however, Chris was very respectful and patient and encouraging, great if you are a new model. And although we didn't get much actual shoot time we got some good pics and have both agreed to try again and plan around the weather.

Highly recommend.
