Spent another amazing afternoon of creative fun with Lightshard and on this occasion the stunning Kitty Quinzell.

What more can I add that I’ve not already mentioned. Working with Lightshard is such an enjoyable and rewarding experience - he is an awesome rigger - talented and creative. He is always conscious of the models wellbeing as well as being aware of the best aesthetics for photographers. Hours fly by in what seem like minutes... a joy to work with.

Very much looking forward to seeing what we can create together again in the future. Highly recommended.

Colin agreed to do a collaborative shibari shoot with me and Richard FE. Having seen his work on here, I was impressed and it was clear that he knows his stuff.

Boy does he!

He ties in a thorough and firm way, yet with a gentle intricate hand,being mindful of your comfort and safety at all times.

Todays shift was a first in suspension for me, I was so impressed by how confident I felt to lay back into the rope harness that he had created for me.

His shibari rope work is sturdy, powerful and undoubtedly beautiful.

I really hope to be tied by him again in future.

Had a great shoot with Colin and managed to capture a few styles of rope for the shoot. He had some great ideas and has an eye for detail and symmetry, always taking pride in the work produced.

Well, here we go again…. not sure what more I can add, that I have not already previously said. Just done another 2 collaborations with Colin and they were once again both superb. He is a skilled, considerate rigger with a huge knowledge base, which always makes for creative and fun shoots. It’s a pleasure to watch him work and then photograph his imaginative creations.

Very much looking forward to seeing what creative ideas we can work on together in the future. As always - very highly recommended.

I’ve worked with Colin on numerous occasions now and he never fails to impress! His knowledge and skill with rope is amazing, it’s such a delight to watch him work and then get to capture the stunning end results. He produces creative ties quickly and confidently whilst always being conscious of the safety and well-being of his models. He is full of ideas and always comes up with new and exciting concepts to try - which makes for super fun and exciting shoots.

I’m always delighted when I get the opportunity to work with Colin and I’m very much looking forward to shooting with him again in the near future. As always - very highly recommended.

Had the great pleasure of working once again with Colin, this time on a Duo Shibari shoot with Red_Kali and Eryn_Rose. He is fantastic at making the models feel at ease, ensuring their comfort and safety whilst producing amazing, strong, dynamic ties. We concentrated on symmetry and it was a pleasure to watch him produce identical ties on both models. Not easy working on two models at the same time, but Colin was quick and precise, saving any unnecessary hanging around!

He’s skilled and creative at the same time - a joy to work with. Would love to collaborate again in the future. Highly recommended.

Colin rigged Red_Kali and I for a duo bondage shoot with Richard FE. Colin really knows his stuff and we were lucky enough to have time for both traditional Japanese and western style sets. Colin was very easy to work with and instantly put me at ease. He is safety conscious, considerate, and works well with models to get the best results within their limits.

The rigging itself was beautiful. Colin produces very neat symmetrical ties, but is equally comfortable experimenting to create something a bit different. As a model I was felt comfortable and safe at all times and thoroughly enjoyed the shoot. I hope i get to work with Colin again soon and enthusiastically recommend him to others.

Following a great first shoot with LightsHard a few months ago, and having been impressed with his tying skills, I asked him if he had ever considered rigging for other photographers’ shoots. I get a reasonable amount of interest from people who wish to explore fetish/bondage imagery but who don’t have the necessary rope skills or experience. Colin was quite keen on the idea of collaborating with others…

We now have several very successful collaborations under our belts (see my ‘Tied by LightsHard’ album!) and it has been a wonderful and rewarding experience working together with Colin and various photographers. Colin's approach to rope is precise and thoughtful, and he produces creative ties quickly and confidently, always mindful of my safety and well-being. He has handled some difficult rigging environments (outdoors, bad weather, urbex) extraordinarily well and has approached every shoot with a great sense of adventure and humour.

I simply can't do anything other than give Colin the highest possible recommendation 😊

Weather improved somewhat for our Thursday ( 27th July ) shoot and LightsHard certainly did not disappoint. This guy deserves praise and more recognition.

He is dedicated and reliable, he works methodically and does neat tight ties. Furthermore he is a team player, he listens and takes in what he is told and then contributes appropriately very well.

Above all else he regularly checks on the model for feedback, I recommend LightsHard in all respects :-)

Did a rope bondage on location shoot with LightsHard today ( Wednesday 26th July ) He travelled down to my manor from bonnie Scotland therefore it was clear to me that this guy is serious about his rope work.

LightsHard was well prepared with rope, had a good attitude and a fun outlook on our adventure together with model Red_Kali.

An experienced rope artist that is reliable, responsible and respectful, keen to learn more and to continue experimenting :-)

He was efficient with his ties and was in no way phased by the wet weather we encountered.

We are shooting again tomorrow and I feel like putting my clock forward 9 or 10 hours because I can't wait ! :-)

I would wholeheartedly recommend LightsHard :-)

Had an amazing shibari rope shoot with LightsHard and Red Kali. Colin was fantastic to work with and he made both myself and the model feel at ease from the outset. Pre-shoot communication was great, so we already had a number of imaginative concepts planned. Colin’s skill and professionalism at rigging and doing the ties was a joy to watch and photograph. He was relaxed and confident and was able to convert ideas into stunning visual forms. As a photographer himself he was fully aware of my needs and made sure there was plenty of opportunity and time to capture images of the scenarios created, whilst maintaining the comfort and best interests of the model in mind. A truly awesome epic 8 hour shoot - resulting in a ridiculous number of fantastic images.

Would absolutely love to work with colin again. Super highly recommended.

Yesterday I had a pleasure to work with Colin for the second time.

It have been a long time since we started working together.

First thing I must mention is his progress in shibari rope work - it expanded greatly since our first photo shoot.

Second important thing is his pre-communication skills - absolutely excellent.

Colin clearly stated what style he would like to shoot, and prepared a mood-board.

Beside the clear plan for that day, he is also open to suggestions and encourages model to be creative.

In his ties, he is respectful and carrying about model's well being and comfort. He listen to the model, and gives great feedback during the shoot.

I can't wait to see images from that day!

LightsHard had been on my WTWW list for quite some time and I'm pleased we finally got the opportunity to shoot together :)

Colin was welcoming and I felt at ease with him from the outset. His rope skills are very impressive and I liked his approach to the tying process. A couple of the ties were deliciously strenuous and, although it was physically demanding, I was absolutely confident of his regard for my safety and well-being.

As well as a very enjoyable shooting experience, he has captured some very atmospheric images that I really like and I'd love to shoot with him again. Highly recommended!

This was my second shoot with Colin. Kind enough to pay for my travel up, despite a hiccup when my phone died meaning that I was late to the shoot, he was his chatty, cheerful and creative self. His rigging methodology is safe and secure, calming and with the ability to help one centre and focus as well. Every line and knot of the rope is placed with an anatomical knowledge to mean that the safety of the bunny is paramount while not sacrificing the aesthetic of the harnesses. We did a few chest rigs and then a partial suspension, which is something that I'd been looking forward to doing - we also included wax (it tickles!). He was always careful to check my boundaries if the poses showed a little more flesh than he intended for the photograph. Plenty of tea was offered too! I'd shoot with him again in a heartbeat, and recommend him highly.

I arrived to do the shoot and was greeted very warmly. This instantly put me at ease. Was put at even more ease with nice friendly chatting over a tea.

We then set to work. The whole experience was very enjoyable and relaxed. Colin was very professional and asked if I was ok and comfortable with the positions and ropes.

Would look forward to working for him again.

I recently had a shoot with Colin at Meow Studios in Edinburgh. I was happy that he chose me as a model for his first proper studio shoot and the couple hours we've had went really quickly. We were working with ropes and Colin made sure to check with me regularly if everything was ok. I felt relaxed, secured and happy the whole time. I enjoyed the whole experience and I was happy with the different ties he did. Colin is also a lovely guy who is very easy to get on with and I would love to work with him again.
