Sometimes the stars align and you get that perfect shoot! Having had two no shows in the last two weeks, I was doubting everything about model photography!

I bought a bargain from eBay which was collection only and a 3 hour drive from where I live, so I had a look for models I wanted to work with along the route, and found Carla. I had wanted to shoot with Carla last year but the Pandemic caused a cancellation of the studio day.

Communications were business like, we arranged a day and time and Carla suggested a location, providing a map and a GPS location.

I suggested

Something bright and summery 

Something warm and snuggly

Something sheer and see-through

Something distinguished for fashion nude.

Carla arrived on time, with the required outfits, a smile and can do attitude. The weather was kind to us and the location provided plenty of opportunities.

Carla posed effortlessly and efficiently and we chatted throughout the shoot the time flew by. I was amazed at the number of images that I took, and totally blown away when editing the images, the first image I published has been voted image of the day on another website.

In short Carla is a very experienced, professional, friendly, relaxed beautiful model.

Would I recommend her Hell yes, thank you for renewing my love of Model photography.

The only down side was the mosquitoes made a meal of me!

Great shoot with Carla today (our 3rd). We had some outfits and types of shots planned, but you know what they say about plans "plans are made to be broken" the weather was good and thankfully overcast for some of the time at least, so we made use of the outdoor opportunities before moving inside. Carla is friendly, relaxed but very professional, her experience shines through contributing to the shoot not just as a model,but also with ideas.

I am sure Carla and I will be shooting together again in the not to distant future.

I had a great shoot with Carla on her recent visit to Weymouth. We spent a very relaxing 3 hours, chatting and drinking coffee whilst taking the occasional photo. Despite the gentle pace I still managed to get all the images I wanted from the shoot and more.

With over a 1000 positve references you don't really need me to tell you how good she is. All I can say is she is well worth the effort of turning up and shooting with her and I would happily do so again.

Had my first wonderful in-person shoot with Carla today, having previously done a remote shoot earlier in the year. It was great to finally meet up for real, and lovely to get out in the sunshine at last: This was a case of third-time lucky for this shoot, with our two previous attempts having been called off due to rain!

Carla arrived at our rendezvous location in good time, and brought a nice selection of outfits to match a mood board I'd sent. She'd also done a brilliant job of planning our shoot, moving between three different shooting locations in order to get a nice variety of shots. We also had her partner, Adrian, with us today, who was a big help to me with technical matters - and also a good packhorse for helping carry the lighting gear around, not to mention our look-out for when doing some art nudes in the woods ;-)

The shoot flew by, but wasn't rushed at all. Carla is both friendly and professional, so we had a relaxed atmosphere throughout but still managed to get surprisingly many shots in spite of two changes of location! She poses effortlessly and looks stunning in virtually every shot, so all that could really go wrong was me messing things up, which didn't happen much, thanks to Adrian's help :-)

I would highly recommend Carla to any photographer, and if you're relatively new to photography then Adrian's assistance is invaluable too.

Carla was one of 4 models (along with Artemis Fauna, Ayla, and Ivory Flame, who was on an Artemisian Events 5 day trip to Croatia.

I have shot with Carla many times on 1:1, workshops, remote and a previous Artemisian trip, and this experience was no different. You get a fantastic model with an ability to pull off pretty much any look you can think of.

We shot many different themes, locations and styles over the 5 days, with every shoot producing top quality and variety.

Carla is a beautiful lady and a beautiful person who will make sure your shooting experience is one that will exceed your expectations. You will also have fun and to me that makes such a difference.

I always enjoy working with Carla and always one away with so many fabulous, creative and beautiful photographs.

I shot with Carla at the 70s House Manchester as part of an Artemisian Events “Back to the 70s” organised shoot.

I shot with Carla (Artemis Fauna & Natasha J Bella) for a 6hr shoot and as will all my shoots with Carla, we created fabulous shots over multiple sets.

Carla always strives to make sure the photographer gets top quality images and is an absolute joy to work with.

Easy going, hard working, beautiful, professional, creative, knowledgeable, friendly - all words that are applicable to a top class model.

I recently had my first duo shoot with Carla and Artemis Fauna, a shoot I have been very much looking forward to. I've worked with Carla and Artemis before (in person and remotely with Carla and just remotely with Artemis) and knew this would be a great shoot. Her pre shoot coms are perfect.

Carla was, as always, the consummate professional, easy going, approachable and fun. Her posing is exquisite and flawless. She has no need for direction but is always open to ideas. She is completely approachable and is encouraging of a nervous photographer. She has a terrific range of outfits and remained upbeat and original throughout our 4 hour shoot. She and Artemis work beautifully together and know instinctively how to pose together, they have such a great connection. I am looking forward to going through the many great shots we created.

I had the opportunity to shoot in person (under COVID guidelines) with Carla and Artemis Fauna recently on a duo shoot. I have shot with Carla before, both in person and also Remote. However this was my first time doing a duo shoot and it couldn't have been with 2 better models.

We had an opportunity to work on ideas we had discussed in advance, shooting Carla solo, and with the versatility and fantastic posing that Carla brings, we achieved some outstanding photos and this part of our shoot was so much fun.

When it came to the duo shooting, the session and sets were truly amazing and it is impossible not to get fantastic images when working with these 2 models, who without effort manage to produce poses, looks and chemistry that is both natural and beautiful.

We went for some abstract / movement shots and again the output was just fantastic.

Finally – after far too long – I’ve been able to pick up my camera, get out of the house and start shooting again. I could not have wished for two better models to start with than the wonderful duo that is Carla Monaco and Artemis Fauna.

I’ve worked with Carla many times over the years. Each time is a fresh delight. Carla’s natural beauty makes it easy to forget how hard she works to make sure you can get the best out of each and every shot. We worked through a variety of themes – in the studio, on location, headshots through to fashion – Carla adapting effortlessly to each.

Sweet English beauty through to biker chick (and a fair few more). Carla – you shone with all of them.

Carla is such a stunningly beautiful lady in every way. Beautiful to photograph and just beautiful to be around. On May 17th I had the privilege of shooting her as part of the Bohemian Bloom trio event. Carla, Ivory Flame and Artemis Fauna shot remotely at their own home studios. Carla had done a wonderful job of creating her sets, totally sympathetic with her very special styling, and that is nowhere near as easy at it sounds. Carla's styling and sets just oozed class.

For this event Adrian Cooke handled the repositioning and resetting of the remote equipment. It was really good to have a little chat.Two Northern boys a long way from home!

I've worked with Carla quite a lot over the years but certainly not enough. Any shoot with Carla will be memorable and result in some epic images.

I can hardly wait to work with her again.

I had my first remote shoot with the lovely Carla. The theme was Bohemian Bloom and the set and props she provided where perfect. Carla was assisted by Adrian Crook and I want to thank both of them for their patients. I live in a rural location and had many internet problems during the shoot. Carla and Adrian were gracious and we rescheduled the shoot for the next day and I had a very successful shoot. The whole experience was terrific and I would recommend Carla to all photographers.

Carla is one of those models everyone has on there list of greats to shoot with and I enjoyed every minute.

The shoot was part of a Mick Payton event with both outdoor and indoor beauty shots, café and casual all of which will add something extra to my work.

I would certainly love to work with Carla again, my only regret is I didn't do it sooner.
