I had my second shoot at Blingshot today, with the excellent Victoria Summers. Great shoot, great model, and far too many great images to decide which to use. Norman is attracting some fantastic modelling talent to North London, and it's well worth keeping an eye on what's happening here.

This is a great facility, bright, clean, well-equipped, and cared for by someone whose passion shines through. Norman is the perfect host, knowledgeable and always ready with help for anyone who needs it, but is equally happy to just let you get on with your shoot.

Refreshments are always available, and I must cost him a fortune in grapes.

I shot at bling shot studios yesterday.. It was a lovely studio and Norman was very friendly and looked after me really well and I really enjoyed his wife's home made biscuits :)

I highly recommend the studio and would definately shoot there again in the future

I organised a shoot for the first time at Blingshot in March. The facilities within the Studio/Apartment are Great. Because there is an option and flexibility to have a the whole Apartment and the Studio area, you could end up spending hours with a model.

The natural light in the Studio is excellent and I achieved most of my work on the day with no extra lighting.

Norman the owner is at hand when anything is needed. He also makes you feel at home by showing you around and then making Tea and Coffee throughout the day. In addition he offers you Biscuits and Snacks !!! :)

I would highly recommend using Blingshot :)

Had my first studio day at the Blingshot studio and it was awesome!

Had great facilities, fantastic set of clothes, jewellery and other props and Norm was very helpful and hospitable throughout my time there.

Would recommend this studio highly!

Bodies of Work

I shot at Blingshot for the first time yesterday and found it to be very versatile and equipped. Norman is very welcoming and helpful both with setting up and advice. I will definitely use it again.

One of the best studios in London - it has everything - studio lights, so many props, natural light, (tons of window space) - it's actually more of a home set-up but with the ease of use of a studio - so many hidden bits, walls that just pull out.. cool corners that seems to appear out of nowhere to make maximum use of space. On top of that, Norman is great entertainment - a cool guy, so genuine and a good laugh, and he makes a great coffee ;) I want to come back to work there - it's a photographer's playroom! It's also warm, and anyone who knows me will know how difficult it is to keep me warm, lol!

Had my first shoot at Blingshot today and what a terrific studio it is. The facilities are second to none with several shooting areas and Norman was on had at all times to give excellent assistance when required in addition to making copious cups of coffee.

I expected that my first shoot at Blingshot would go well - good pre-shoot communication with Norman and with the superb JoPaul went a long way to alleviate the concerns I had at choosing to do a 'concept' shoot.

In fact, it was fantastic - I got the images I wanted in half the time I expected, and Norman was extremely helpful. His philosophy - he leaves you to get on with things but is happy to lend a hand or offer advice if requested - works well in such a flexible and adaptable series of spaces.

He is very hospitable, and I can recommend not just the studio but the hot buttered crumpets too!

The studio is very well equipped. Norman looks after the models and the photographers, always happy to borrow a hand or give cakes for a hungry model. There are plenty of props that can be used and the scenery can be rearranged easily and quickly so you will get a variety in your pictures. Plenty of natural light as well as the studio light. Definitely a nice place to work in!

My first visit to Blingshot Studio was fantastic and thoroughly deserves the many positive reviews. Norman is welcoming and professional with a real eagerness to ensure the shoot goes well - from making tea, offering to mend a client's flash gun to settling you into the studio space - nothing is too much trouble. I arranged a studio day here at Blingshot studio with Norman whilst I was doing my London tour. Norman was so helpful to me. He advertised my studio day, took bookings and even picked me up and took me back to my hotel. He was so helpful and hospitable to all the photographers that came to the studio by showing them around, offering them drinks and fruit, showing them the different sorts of lighting and so on :)

The studio day sold out and was such an awesome place to shoot. There is awesome natural light and of course and array of lighting equipment and props. I love that it is not like other studios. It has more character and I felt like I could do alot whilst I was there. I was there from 8:30 am and stopped shooting at 21:15pm and I still felt like I could have done so much more with the studio if I had the time. I do hope to go back again soon :) Thanks again Norman :)

Wow my first visit to Blingshot and impressed just walking through the door. It is a great set up and well worth the visit, help at hand, coffee and biscuits as well (chocolate)! The whole environment made it very easy and relaxing to get the shots I wanted. Thanks.

I finally got to visit Norm's fantastic studio at a model day this month.

All I can say is that BlingShot is AWESOME! A truly great studio space, lot's of lovely natural light and beautifully decorated throughout. Lot's of props too - so many shooting opportunities!

Norm is wonderful and very welcoming to his studio. He allows photographers plenty of space to get on with their shoots, but is there in a flash if any help is required!

Very highly recommended!!

I have no hesitation in recommending Bling Shot and Norman Leftly. The studio is warm and comfortable,. the assistance is always forthcoming and the refreshments are always on offer. I was my second time there and I will be back cheerfully in 4 days time for another shoot. Well done Norman
