I first started serious photography around 30 years ago. After selling my soul to commercial images I became disillusioned and didn’t touch a camera for around 15 years. Now 9 years ago I picked up the camera again enjoying a second life resisting the temptation to try and make money from my passion. However I have been persuaded to start work again and am now a full time photographer but I am determined to keep true to the images I want to take. I try to keep as broad a range of genres as possible but recently I have enjoyed photographing friends and family. Some of my photos have helped the careers of my friends and that means a lot to me. I am a runner/cyclist/ex hockey player and my son has a Crossfit business in Norway so I love anything fitness/strength/competition based. I joined Purple Port to develop my people photography and will be happy if I help other people’s careers on the way.

I have now developed a specialist Equine Portrait business and I would like to hear from any models who ride horses especially if they have access to quality animals.

I bring a lot of experience with me and always strive for best results possible. I plan my shoots and prefer to exchange ideas beforehand so we don't waste valuable shooting time. I like to start and share ideas boards planning a number of desired shots but then new ideas often flow. I am prepared to explore any brief from photography in the work place to individual studio or location shots and fine art. I do what I want with my time and I'm often available at short notice or during the normal working week. I have my own studio at home and live where there are plenty of good locations but will happily travel to get a great shot. I understand the importance of quality images for any model's portfolio and will provide choice of images and fully edited versions promptly. I could be good for new models wanting images for a portfolio.

I love what I do but I also know it's a 2 way thing. That's why the model comes first and I provide the images.
