Alan came along to a duo shoot hosted by @ashleighrae and I at Daniel’s Mill, and he was such a wonderful addition to the group.

I’ve worked with Alan more times than I can remember now and he’s always such a joy to work with. Funny, kind and amazing company, Alan fits right into any group setting and helps create a lovely, creative atmosphere. I know Ashleigh would agree that our shoot was all the better for having him in attendance.

Alan is a fabulous photographer also, and his enthusiasm and passion is infectious. His images are always beautiful, and the ones he’s been kind enough to share with me from the duo shoot are no exception.

Highly recommended, as always, to all models, studios etc. Thanks so much Alan! ❤️

What a shoot!!!

Shot with the lovely Alan Bruce during my recent modelling tour to the West-Midlands at my hired apartment. Prior to shooting pre-communication was great and everything was super easy to plan and set up.

Alan was so down to earth and easy to get on with and talk to. He’s such a gem and shots with him are really fun. We had lots of laughter and smiles during this shoot as we shot some fabulous fashion, latex and lingerie shots.

Would love to shoot with Alan again in the future. 110% recommended.

I work with Alan on a very regular basis but I’ve had the privilege of working many times with Alan over the last couple of months in quick succession.

Alan is one of my all time favourite people to shoot with, and this is in no small part down to just how kind, open and thoughtful a soul he is. Alan is always there with a smile and hug and I don’t think anyone could be down in the dumps in his presence.

Each shoot I’ve had with him over the last few weeks, whether that was one-to-one or part of a group, has been a delight! And we’ve been just as productive as we have been chatty, with lots of beautiful images to show for our efforts!

I thoroughly recommend Alan to anyone lucky enough to shoot with him! I can’t wait for our next adventure (which is next week as a matter of fact 😂) Thanks so much Alan!

Alan logged in via tethered to the Modern Ethereal group shoot at Alastair Currills studio this month.

Alan created some great images from the shoot, some which he has shared with me and they can be found on my portfolio. Alan is patient in waiting for his turn and fun to shoot with, as always. I get on with Alan incredibly well as see him as a friend too. Highly recommended, I'm loving the results from the modern ethereal group shoot :) x

A great couple of hours at my studio day at Far Forest studio last Sunday. I've shot with Alan so many times now, I consider him a good friend. We get on really well. Alan is a kind, genuine, down to earth guy who is easy to shoot with. Alan has his own ideas and loves to have fun as he shoots. He is also interested in my ideas. We worked through some sets and had fun along the way. It was lovely to see Alan face to face again. Sometimes we shoot tethered on other group shoots. But I always like to see him in person and catch up, the shoot flowed really well and I had an excellent time. Alan also has a long background in photography career wise, so you will get quality photos taken as well. Many Thanks Alan! Highly recommended :) x

It was great to see Alan last Friday face to face again. Everytime I meet up with Alan for a shoot, it is more like meeting up with a friend not just a photographer.

We drove to the location of Chastleton house and gardens and actually spent practically the whole shoot in the house. There was so much for us to work with there!

Alan and I had a chat and a giggle on our way round. And the shoot flowed really well. Alan is a down to earth and genuine person who enjoys shooting for fun. Our ideas always bounce off each other and we get some great results.

I have shot with Alan a number of times now on location, in studio and also tethered on group shoots. Everytime Alan is friendly and welcoming and easy to shoot with.

I would highly recommend shooting with Alan, and he is one of my favourite photographers to shoot with :)

I’ve actually had two shoots with Alan since I last left a reference (in my defence they were in quick succession 🙈)

Firstly, I was so pleased to work with Alan again at Dracup’s cottage in Bridgnorth. It was Alan’s second visit to the location as there is so much potential at the property, we ran out of time to get through everything last time we shot there.

It was a truly lovely shoot, it’s so comfortable and fun working with Alan and we always capture such amazing images in the process.

Our second shoot was at RAF Cosford as Alan really wanted to shoot a model there, after visiting many times. The day was absolutely wonderful. It was as much a trip out for us both as it was a shoot and I really appreciated Alan looking after me and treating me to a coffee and sausage roll. The images are incredible on the back of camera! It was such an exciting and productive day.

Needless to say I’d recommend Alan to everyone and I look forward to working with him again in the future. Thanks so much Alan, you’re a star! ⭐️

Alan attended our recent Debbie Harry "BLONDIE" themed workshop.

He turned up on time & was also kind enough to give our model a lift.

Alan worked well with Our Model & got on really well with the rest of the group.

Alan is an experienced photographer & took some greaat images.

I had the immense pleasure of working with Alan again last week when he booked a slot on my week-long event at an amazing cottage location in Bridgnorth.

Anyone who knows me knows that I love working with Alan! He’s fabulous company and it’s always lovely to catch up with him. Long story short, he’s an absolute star!

We spent 3 hours shooting in the new location, and we managed to capture so many different looks and styles. I love the images I’ve seen from the shoot so far. Alan is always so kind in sharing images from our shoots with me, something I really appreciate!

Needless to say, I’d recommend Alan to other models wholeheartedly, and I look forward to working with him again. Thanks so much Alan 😊

I had another absolutely lovely shoot with this absolutely lovely photographer last week. Alan and I returned to one of our favourites locations, Daniel’s Mill, for another few hours of creative fun.

I brought a suitcase full of outfits with me, but we zoned in on some really authentic period looks and found so much inspiration in two of the outfits that we spent the 3 hours shooting just those! The first outfit, in particular, lent itself really well to the location and the back of cams we were getting were amazing!

Alan is so much fun to be around and the whole photoshoot process with him is charmed from beginning to end! Time always flies!

We could chat for England when we get together, and invariably we do 😁 Somehow we manage to capture lots of wonderful images at the same time.

If you haven’t worked with him, do it now! You won’t regret it! Thanks Alan! 😊

Alan remotely came to our Pop Art Group shoot run by Alastair Currill and myself last Thursday. Alan was logged in and ready to go, as cheerful as ever! Alan and I shot well through tethering. Alan was very patient, waiting his turn, gave good direction and made me laugh as usual! Always pleasant to shoot with Alan, I hope you got some good shots Alan. Always highly recommended :) x

I was so happy that Alan booked onto a photography event I’d arranged at a local Air BnB last week. We’ve worked together countless times and each time is a delight.

Alan is wonderful company and altogether a kind and generous soul. He is so much fun to work with and we always end up spending a huge chunk of our time ‘catching up’, even if it’s been a week since our last shoot!

His images are beautiful and he’s so generous with them; each time asking me to pick my favourite 20 to be edited. They’re always beautifully composed, lit, and edited.

I’ve had the privilege of working with Alan consistently now for years and he’s such a joy!

Most recently Alan booked me for a duo shoot with Melanie Bond, and was kind enough to drive me to the location, which was a fair way away. We then shot for 3 hours together, with a compulsory lunch break therein, before driving back.

Alan is so much fun and easy to talk to, and I feel we’ll never run out of things to tell one another. He’s witty, honest and just generally a wonderful soul.

This shoot, like all the others, was thoroughly enjoyable and the images are truly lovely (thank you for sharing them with me Alan, as ever.)

I’d wholeheartedly recommend Alan to others, without hesitation, and I look forward to working with him again soon!

Alan arranged a duo shoot with myself and Miss Rosie Lea last week and what a wonderful day it was!

We shot at some Ruins I found near me in the Cotswolds and created some elegant duo images.

Both Alan and Rose were fantastic to shoot with. Alan and I shoot a few times a year and it's always a Photographer I look forward to shooting with. Alan is great company and very creative. His photography skills are also excellent. I often use his pictures as my avators or cover images on Purpleport.

The shoot from start to finish was an absolute blast to be honest. We all bounced ideas off each other and the duo posing captured by Alan flowed really well :)

Alan was kind enough to drop me back home too which is always appreciated.

An excellent day, thank you Alan and thank you for giving Rose and I the opportunity to shoot together! I can't wait to see the results! :D xx

A great shoot today with Alan in the Cotswold Bluebell woods and Rapeseed fields. Pre comms were great and Alan was well organised. We met on time and travelled to the first location. Alan was easy to shoot with, very chatty and it was easy to get creative together especially in such a beautiful setting. Alan was open to showing back of camera and suggested good shoot ideas. We then went onto the second location Rapeseed where we experimented with Drone film / photography. This was good fun and something I had only tried once before. I found the time flew with Alan but we shot everything we planned. I always look forward to my shoots with Alan. We have shot together a handful of times and I would absolutely recommend Alan to other models and photographers to work with. Thanks for a great shoot Alan :) x

Alan booked me for a lovely autumnal themed shoot last month, alongside another photographer.

As always I had a wonderful time in his company. Every time we shoot it feels as much like a catch up with a friend as it does a creative venture... but trust me there’s plenty of that too! We managed to capture some beautiful images that really did my favourite season justice!
