Pre communications were brilliant and we’d chosen different themes in preparation for the afternoon.

He is very knowledgeable when it comes to lighting and I feel like I have learnt a lot. Very easy to talk too and he has a great eye for detail.

Would definitely recommend shooting with him.

Alan is lovely and really easy to talk to you and is very informative when it comes to lighting etc I enjoyed learning some stuff. I’ve already had some pictures back and they look great can’t wait to see the rest. Would highly reccomend getting a shoot booked in with Alan :)

I had such a fantastic shoot with Alan at ZaVod studio!!!

Our pre-communication was excellent! Alan sent me a moodboard with a lot of fantastic ideas, making it very easy to prepare for the shoot. Alan is incredibly creative and imaginative, and I was thrilled to bring all his ideas to life! The entire shoot was full of fun! He encouraged me to bring my own ideas and help with the set. I had the freedom to pose as I wanted and be creative! Alan is a very professional photographer; he knows how to work with light to create a perfect picture! Additionally, he can create a marvelous atmosphere with great music and mood! Also, we had a great chat, and time flew by! In the middle of the shoot, he was so kind to feed me delicious lunch and drinks!

The results of the shoot are absolutely fantastic! The photos look gorgeous, like they're from a fashion magazine! I am so happy we managed to work together, and I'm excited about the creative possibilities for our future shoots. I'm very much looking forward to working with you again and seeing what we will do next! Thank you!

Worked with Alan again today at Zavod Studio Uk, We spend a few hours trying different ideas and styles out. He was amazing like always! Friendly, inspire, fun, creative and professional. He made good use of the studio, backgrounds and his props. I Would HIGHLY recommend and cant wait to work with him again!

Alan provided one of the most in-depth pre-comms and shooting plans I've ever received, which left me deeply impressed as it left no room for doubt who of us was to bring which props and made it easy to decide which outfits to pack based on the shooting plan.

Alan was so kind as to pick me up from the station upon arrival and walked me to the studio, where he was incredibly hospitable in offering refreshments.

The shoot itself went very smoothly, with a stunning set already set up by Alan, who is also incredibly knowledgable about the most effectful use of lighting, and knows how to create powerful images that tell a story.

Very grateful I got to shoot with Alan and would again at the drop of a hat!

I had another fabulous shoot with Alan again recently at the Kiln! Alan always has some amazing wacky ideas and I just love it! This time we worked with an all white theme complete with spear! I’m always impressed by Alan’s creativity and the fact he makes almost everything he brings to his shoots, it just goes to show what a true artist he really is. Lighting is always bang on and I love that he keeps me in the loop with updates on edits. Always an absolute pleasure to work with and the time just sadly vanishes. Please feel free to throw all the crazy ideas at me, I’m absolutely game!

I have shot with Alan a few times now and this time we were on location in Huddersfield! His lovely daughter came along to shoot as well and she was such a great addition to our team. We got through 3 outfits in forever changing weather and Alan had even brought snacks and lunch along, which was so kind of him!

He had thought of everything to make the shoot as easy as possible (including a very roomy changing tent) and the shoot flew by!

I would really recommend working with Alan, he produces wonderful images, is very creative and always thinks of the model's comfort at all times!

Can't wait to see the images and hope to work together again soon :)

Great to have Alan visiting these studio spaces for his first time on a model day with the awesome Irida.

I was busy organising stuff when he arrived and only got chance to say a quick hello but was happy to leave Alan in Irida's company. Everything seemed to go well and I'm looking forward to seeing any images that Alan decides to show.

I had a fantastic first shoot with Alan on my studio day at A scorpion residence in Kettering.

Alan is so well organised and had prepared a moodboard of ideas for the shoot. We shot fine art nude styles. Alan is a very talented photographer and I really liked that camera was tethered on his tablet and we had an instant look on the photos which was very helpful.

Professional and easy to work with, veery happy to highly recommend and hope to work together again soon

Alan was brilliant to work with and highly respectful throughout,

There was lots of communication to follow so I knew exactly what images Alan was going for, angles, lighting set up, looks, etc and also was shown some examples of his previous work so I knew what his styles like.

Alan has also been excellent post-shoot, I approached him to ask whether it’d be alright to conceal any sheer areas which he’s done no hesitation and the photos look amazing,

Alan attended mine and Tara Mawers duo themed day last month (apologies for the late reference) He messaged on the morning of the day so it was a rather last minute booking but fortunately his comms were super efficient which meant we were able to book him in and get everything organised in a couple of messages! Perfect!

Alan has been to the studio before and worked with myself 1-2-1... as always he was on time and super chatty and friendly!...

When Alan attendees something that has a theme he does tend to have an idea of how he would like to create something from that look, so sets out to experiment and see what he can get!

One thing I really like when shooting with Alan is his use of tethering, now we all know it can be temperamental but I do find it super useful! And it was brilliant for both of us to see what Alan was thinking!

As always it was lovely to work with Alan, we got some gorgeous images, had lots of chat and giggles! So a success all round I would say!

Would certainly recommend Alan to other models and studios alike...

Alan is a creative whirlwind, I came out of the changing room and there he was building an immersive cinematic set setting off a smoke machine and colourful lights! Alan came with a clear idea of what he wanted to achieve styling for me to wear, which was amazing. I love getting into character, immersing myself in this photo shoot. Alongside that I also learnt magenta is not a real colour…

Alans work looked amazing so I was eager to shoot with him.

After reaching out to him with an idea I had, I was really pleased that he was also interested in this direction.

We planned for almost 2 months, he was very quick to respond via message and I felt we were always on the same wavelength.

When the date came, we both met at a location Alan had discovered and had sent me pictures of, it didn't disappoint.

It fit perfectly to the theme of the shoot.

Alan is easy to talk to and comes well prepared, he was always very open to ideas I had for poses and allowed me to flow at my own pace with zero pressure, even between an outfit change which took a bit of time.

His knowledge of lighting and an eye for the ideal position at the location, has resulted in some amazing shots even prior to any real editing so I cannot wait to see the finished results.

I would most definitely work with Alan again to tell more stories in the near future. Thank you Alan!
