Can’t help thinking there would be a lot more PP social options on the immediate mainland in the conurbation(s) (Bournemouth across to Havant, say) which appears to have a disproportionate purpleport presence compared to many other areas outside London.
Perhaps your pitch should be for a summer social somewhere on the island for those mainlanders?
