Bulk move images between albums

Is there a way to bulk move images from one album to another album? If feels like the image manager should enable this only it's far from obvious how.

I want to move all images from one album to another album and then delete the original album.

Not sure it is a bulk move option, but can you not select the album said images are in, within image manager, and then when clicking on albums button, select and move them that way?

Yes, you can. In the Image Manager:

In the 'Show' field choose 'In the <source> album' where <source> is the album you are moving from. Then click select 'all'. Note: I find on a PC that if you have more than 30 images in the album you need to scroll down to display them all otherwise it only selects the first 30.

Click the 'Albums' button.

Select the destination album then check 'Add images to selected albums and remove from other albums.'

Then you can delete the, now empty, source album.

There may be other ways of doing it too, but this should work.

You could just rename the album and edit content.

Fine if the target album does not yet exist (or is empty).  Wouldn't work if the intent is to merge two albums.

This is definitely the way I'd do it.

Yes, thanks, that works. One day PurplePort might bring the site design into the 21st Century.

Personally, I find it entirely intuitive the way it is, but if you'd care to raise a new Suggestion post on that topic, and show what improvements you'd suggest, I'm sure Russ would listen.
