PurplePort in association with Dave Kai Piper, Jack Hawkes and Penny Grimley are offering you the chance to receive one-to-one coaching and assistance during a studio shoot in Birmingham UK.

Dave Kai Piper is is a highly skilled international photographer with many years of one-to-one bespoke tutoring to his name. With his team he will be your personal assistant and coach for the day, providing photographic and lighting advice as well as professional retouching and finishing of images from your shoot.

The winner will receive a 4 hour studio shoot at Jack Hawkes Studio in Sutton Coldfield (north of Birmingham) working with models of your choice and professional MUA Penny Grimley.

Entry is restricted to 1 image per member. Images will be judged initially by the PPHQ team and Dave Kai Piper on overall impact, composition, subject matter and presentation. Finalists will be presented for a public vote on March 20th 2012.

This is an open competition with no specific theme, however all entries must be a human portrait.
